There’s no leadership at store level and corporate level !!!

I can not say because I never met the CEO this is the worst company that I have ever worked for I worked for many different retail companies and variety wholesalers is the worst

I would improve the company culture by improving leadership at the store level and the company level. There is no company guidance on how to run a store. There’s no communication among us corporate level in the store level. There’s no communication between the two.

I prepared mine for my interview for variety wholesalers, but just letting the hiring manager know what my experience is in the retail business

my experience in the retail business is that they all are about the same. The conversation is about the same. The only difference is variety wholesaler wants their assistant managers who are salary to work from the sun up to sunset basically 1213 hours a day seven days a week and it’s the same thing for the store managers and that’s why the store managers and the assistant managers quit variety wholesalers because they work them way too hard and too much

I think it’s OK. I mean I only worked for variety wholesaler for a short time. I know the store manager she did the best as she could I mean she was always fair and honest upfront with myself and other employees.

Helping customers helping other associates achieve their goals, just being a friend to the associates that I work with or used to work with and just for a customer to smile and say thank you for providing great customer service

Williamson Nc, 27892: TOXIC work environment. Managers are very childish and DM is very dismissive and disrespectful. The schedules changes at least three times out of the week. If you can not adjust for them because of the schedule changes you are retaliated against. Then that work if force on to someone else to handle when that person is all ready being micro managed. There isn't enough people working to handle the work load so you are forced to work in many different sections leaving other areas unfinish. The store is very dirty due to lack of cleaning and having the proper PPE. New hires are not trained properly and are thrown into any area that would benefit the store for that moment. The pay rates are very low and there is no room for a career advancement. They would lie and gaslight you in order to get you hired. No one is held accountable for their actions. Even when they yell and throw tantrums while calling a manager out of their name. Yet they still are not held accountable for their actions. The Manager on duty who is salary does not work at all. Instead he sits in the office with the door lock while watchin tik tok all shift. When called for help he will ignore it or will get someone else to do it so he wont have to leave the office. I have never seen a workplace that is functioning the way this store in williamston nc is and there is no one to speak to about it. There are managers sleeping with employees and the DM knows about it. It is a topic of discussion at the store. There is only one manager in the store that actually works and he is over freight and floor coordination. The other female manager doesn't work at all. She is over softline and opening and closing shifts. She is the most toxic out of the three. She share information about other employees to all other employees. These are things that only management should know. This starts gossip in the store making the environment even more toxic. I would not recommend working at this store location. Which is located at 809 East Blvd, Williamston 27892.

There have been no good experiences since I started. Which explains why so many people quit.

District Manager don't know how to talk to people and threaten your job talk like they dogs .Customers will like to talk to them sometimes ignored them want speak to them. You also have a prejudiice people working only talk to white people and pertinent to talk to black people so we assume they not prejudice .e
