Description: Roseville Area Schools has an opening for a Custodian - Evening Lead Parkview Center School Hours are Monday-Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm. Successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and mentoring other custodial staff, cleaning assigned areas, assisting with event set-ups, and various other duties supporting the needs of the many programs in the building; must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Description: Roseville Area Schools is seeking qualified candidates to provide before- and after-school instruction through our Targeted Services program. Multiple positions available. Instructors deliver small-group academic support in literacy and/or math to students who benefit from additional learning time. These positions offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student growth outside the regular school day.
Location: Various district sites (elementary schools and Roseville Area Middle School).
Schedule: Part-Time - Schedule determined based on school site
Mornings: 7:45/8:15am - 8:45/9:25 am
Afternoons: 1:45pm/3:20pm/4:00pm - 3:15pm/5:00pm/5:30pm
(No weekends)
Compensation:
Hourly pay: $22/hour (unlicensed teacher)
Hourly pay: 28/hour (licensed teacher)
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction based on each student's Continued Learning Plan (CLP).
Provide supplemental support in literacy and/or math using engaging, hands-on student-centered actvities.
Build strong relationships with student to increase engagement, motivation, and achievement.
Create a positive, inclusive, and predictable classroom environment.
Collaborate with Community Education Supervisor, Out-of-School Time Site Supervisor, classroom teachers, and school staff.
Complete required Targeted Services documentation (attendance, CLPs, progress summaries).
Communicate with families as needed regarding schedule changes, attendance concerns, and student progress.
Follow district policies and Minnesota Department of Education Targeted Services guidelines.
Qualifications:
A current MN Teaching License is preferred, but not required.
Understanding of elementary literacy and math instructional practices.
Commitment to an equitable education experience for all.
Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.

Summary of Duties:

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria to qualify for this position:
60-semester credits (or two years full-time at an institute of higher education)
or an Associate's degree (AA, AS, AAS)
or must pass the Paraeducator assessment before the first day of employment
Pay:
Starting at $20.24 - $21.26 per hour.
