    *Desktop Support Technician* Intermediate Level | OnSite | FullTime *Position Overview* The Desktop Support Technician provides handson technical support for end users. This role includes installation, troubleshooting, and repair of devices in a desktop environment, along with occasional support for related systems such as cameras, servers, and network equipment. The technician will support a large number of devices and interact directly with staff and individuals working within the facility. Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and adaptability are essential. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. * Install, configure, and repair devices in a desktop environment. * Assist with basic support for cameras, servers, and network switches as needed. * Support approximately 200+ devices and provide direct assistance to facility staff. * Work in a secure environment and interact with individuals assigned to work details. * Perform imaging, deployment, and routine maintenance of equipment. * Document work in a ticketing system and follow established procedures. * Lift and transport equipment and work in physically demanding positions when required. * Perform additional duties as assigned. *Required Qualifications* * 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical role. * Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair in a desktop environment. * Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in nonstandard physical positions. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Preferred Skills* * Experience supporting multiple operating systems. * Familiarity with device imaging, deployment, and hardware repair. * Understanding of basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting. * Exposure to ticketing systems and documentation practices. * Interest in learning additional systems such as cameras, access control, or lowvoltage equipment. *Additional Notes* * Customer service and communication skills are equally important as technical ability. * Enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to ask questions are highly valued. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Fredonia, KY. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
