SUMMARY
A Front Office Specialist is trained to act as the first point of contact, setting the tone for a world class Total Patient Experience. This employee will also perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients.
LOCATION
Work is primarily performed in a standard office or clinical setting. However, travel to other locations may be required to carry out essential job duties and responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great service and support.
Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave.
Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times.
Practice urgency at all times with consideration to the patient's time, as well as doctor's time and schedule.
Double check insurance authorizations to ensure completion and build accurate flow sheets.
Check out patients and collect correct payments according to procedures.
Manage patient flow in the office and ensure communication to maximize efficiency and customer service.
Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA.
General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Favorable result on background check as required by state
Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

High school diploma or GED required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Business Development Senior Analyst will be responsible for the integrity, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's core KPI models used to analyze performance and provide actionable business insights for our healthcare services company.

Revenue Model Support and Maintenance:
Serve as the primary manager of the Power BI revenue model(s) that calculate revenue and gross-to-net adjustments based on actual cash performance data.
Design and implement robust controls and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the source data feeds (28 Practice Management systems and Snowflake data warehouse) into the model.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the model's logic, assumptions, data flows, and methodology for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.

Support the OPH doctor compensation team with revenue files to prepare timely and accurate productivity accruals.
Support Accounting as needed on monthly close activities and cash waterfall analysis.
Serve as the financial modeling expert during external audits, clearly articulating the model's structure and calculations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to frame complex analytical problems, pull data, and extract insights that led to intangible business results.
Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, including billing, coding (CPT/ICD), claims processing, and gross-to-net revenue calculations. Knowledge of value-based care or risk-adjustment models is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field

The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the finance team in the detailed analysis, ROI modeling, and budgeting for the optometry business unit.
