MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Requires a High school diploma or GED equivalent and minimum age of 21. Must satisfy requirements stated in the Official Code of Georgia, Annotated (OCGA) 35-8-8. Must successfully complete a Peace Officer Basic training course, certified by the Georgia Peace Officer's Standards and Training Council, as stated in OCGA 35-8-9. * Works with the Finance Department to oversee the RFP/bid process, including soliciting vendor quotations for procurement of goods and services; coordinating team to evaluate quotations using price comparison methods and price analysis; selecting the vendor.
* Assists Recreation Services Manager in preparing divisional budget for events and monitoring expenses. Estimates time, cost, labor, equipment, and material needs. Manages spending for all events per the designated budget and tracks incoming vendor and sponsor fees. Works with Recreation Services Manager and City partners to develop long-term and short-term goals, event structure and design, and planning and logistics for City events.
* Supervises, reviews, and evaluates vendors' work performance; works with vendors to correct deficiencies. Reviews and approves invoices prior to submitting for payment. Works with the Recreation Services Manager to implement documentation procedures when appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; one (1) year of experience in construction, grounds maintenance, or other manual tasks preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Licenses or Certifications:
Possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).

The Lifeguard will be responsible for:
* Perform duties associated with guarding a public pool Including scanning the pool. preventing accidents by enforcing pool policies and rules. and communicating policies and rules to pool patrons
* Perform routine maintenance, restroom cleaning and stocking, picking up trash In pool deck and concessions areas, emptying garbage cans, straightening chairs and tables, vacuuming pool, and other duties as required .
* Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies by rescuing persons in distress or in danger of drowning; perform lifeguarding techniques, First Aid, and/or CPR, as necessary.
