Roto-Rooter is seeking an experienced estimator with insurance claims experience to join our fast-growing water restoration team. This is a full-time position at our Los Angeles North branch located in Alhambra, CA. The hourly pay range is $26.00-$31.00, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Use Xactimate estimating software to write detailed water restoration estimates for residential and commercial customers.
Maintain communication with customers and insurance adjusters.
Submit estimates to insurance companies for payment.
Follow established billing and collections procedures.
Work in close proximity to coworkers in an open environment.
Handle sensitive financial and or personal customer information.
Requirements
Xactimate software and estimate writing experience is preferred.
Insurance claims experience is required.
Administrative billing & collections experience in the restoration or service industry is preferred.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bilingual preferred, but not required.
Strong communication skills.
Driver's License.

Responsibilities
Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety protocols
Interact with customers as needed
Perform excavation tasks followed by pipe repairs or new pipe installations as an Excavation Technician
