Since most of our jobs operate in an open store environment, strong communication skills are an essential part of this role. Use hand and power tools safely (training provided). Measure, cut, and fit materials with guidance from lead carpenter. Assist with mounting shelves and leveling parts. Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation. Repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to: replacing rotten wood, maintaining electrical wiring and some plumbing, performing small demolition jobs. Assist with installations and/or replacements - simple to complex projects. Assembly of various trade goods. Operate or tend to powered equipment.
