Responsibilities The Donor Services Department at the Rhode Island Blood Center is seeking a dependable individual for daily travel to and from RIBC mobile blood drives to fixed sites for transport, set up, and breakdown of all equipment. This position reports to the Manager, Collection Logistics and is responsible for customer service, communication, and organization of blood drive setup and break down. Donor Services Drivers represent Rhode Island Blood Center to donors, drive sponsors and the public and ensure efficient and effective blood collection activities. Packing for, transporting to and setting up mobile blood drives and delivering blood from fixed and mobile operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Complete Mobile Prep by: Maintaining vehicle inventory of stock items. Using “Drive Sheet”, gather non-stock supplies from packing room and load onto vehicle.
