Description of Essential Duties: Load trucks with propane cylinders Deliver propane cylinders to assigned route Routes are designed to sell or exchange 300-550 tanks a day, it is physically demanding Properly fill out driver logs and daily paperwork and mail paperwork to the main office daily Complete assigned routes in a logical sequence ensuring all delivery times are met and working at a steady pace while delivering the propane cylinders, maintaining safety. Perform all truck maintenance, on a daily basis, verify all safety supplies are on the truck, keep inside and outside of truck clean and orderly, and notify manager of any issues that need to be fixed. Maintain positive friendly working relationships with all customers, meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations. Safety: Operate delivery vehicles safely; adhere to traffic rules and DOT regulations. Perform Daily Vehicle Inspections (DVIR's) and report any issues to management. Where you'll work: Culligan Drivers spend much of their time out in the field delivering to both commercial and residential customers - this means you'll spend extensive time driving and getting in and out of the route truck. Our drivers deliver in rain or shine and must be comfortable being exposed to various weather conditions. This role is labor intensive and requires strong physical stamina.
