General Description
The Route Manager will manage and direct the day to day operations of the Trucking business for Mid-Florida Materials Truck Division. Will work with Operations Manager to implement operation strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of the department goals
Key Duties
+ Oversee all trucking operations within the company. Plan, organize, direct and control operations activities.
+ Assist with hiring, training, developing and motivating employees toward accomplishing company goals.
+ Conduct daily JSA Meetings with Staff prior to start of the workday
+ Coordinate daily operational equipment needs with maintenance department.
+ Ensure that all vehicles, and equipment in trucking operations remain in safe and efficient operating conditions, as well as kept in a clean, presentable condition.
+ Support and enforce all company safety program. Cooperate with the company Safety Manager and continually ensure that all company operations and activities are performed in a consistently safe manner.

+ Ensure that all company operations are in strict compliance with county, state, and federal regulations pertaining to the environment.

Qualification Requirements
+ General. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Duty satisfactorily.
