The Job:
As a Site Security Supervisor 2nd Shift, you'll be part of our corporate team working as a 2nd shift on-site employee. This position is responsible for managing all physical security responsibilities for Willard, OH. The Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) Asset Protection team provides security / safety / executive operations / investigative related oversight and guidance to SBD business units. This position reports to the Regional Security Director and will work with various site employees, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants as, and if required. The primary objective of this position is to supervise the Security & Safety Services Team, to safeguard the facility and grounds, executive employees and be a First Responder in a crisis/emergency. This position may require some travel, working non-business hours and potentially weekends.
The Job:
Security & Safety Services of the Valley City, OH location.
Monitoring CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
Manage proprietary security services.
Manage the 3rd party vendor security services.
Directing visitors and controlling access at all Security Posts.
Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facility
Implementing physical security improvements.
Documenting security and safety related incidents.
First Responder to a Crisis Situation. Provide First Aid + CPR + AED.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

High School Degree required, and/or higher education preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
3+years or more related security and or law enforcement/military experience.
C-TPAT and or Regulatory Compliance experience preferred.
Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Strong Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Physical fitness is essential and proficiency in a martial art and or other defensive skill is desirable.
CPR + AED + First Aid Training.
Strong leadership skills including effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative, team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify and solve problems.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, drug screen, and psychological screening process is required.
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.

About the team and position
As a Functional Lead, you will be an integral part of the Safe and Secure Team executing programs and processes at our Headquarter facilities to ensure our team members and assets are protected. Implement and monitor visitor and vendor check-in processes, providing regular team member training and coaching.
Implement and conduct risk assessments of our HQ facilities.
Work with the Safe and Secure Operations Center leadership to provide support when business needs require.
Assign work and hold team members accountable to expectations and deliverables.
Ensure the team always has appropriate staffing that meet relevant KPIs and goals.
Be available and onsite during business hours that could occasionally exceed 40 hours in a week.
Occasionally be available outside of traditional business hours, as needed.

What you should know/have

Collaborates with the Market Asset Protection Manager and Store Leadership to support a culture of shrink prevention through operational excellence, theft controls and people development, along with a culture of safety with 200% accountability. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
