Royal Farms company history timeline

1959

In 1959, as new technology extended milk's shelf life and home deliveries waned, the family opened a "milk store," which would become the Royal Farms chain.

1964

The privately held company passed into the hands of Maynard's son Ralph, a University of Maryland graduate and Marine Corps officer, in 1964.

1993

1993 A Developing Dairy IndustryLong known as an area of great resources for irrigated crop production and cattle feeding, western Kansas began to see the development of a large-scale dairy industry.

2017

In the fall of 2017, Meadowlark Dairy Nutrition began processing milk into numerous dairy powders that are marketed domestically and all around the world.

2019

2019 Royal FarmsAs a strategic step in the 20+ year alliance between Royal Farms Dairy and Irsik Farms, it was decided to complete an acquisition and merger of the cropping enterprise of Irsik Farms into the dairy operation.
