Cardiac PCU highlights\: Our dedicated and caring team on our Progressive Care Unit cares for a variety of cardiac-medical patients with a 3\:1 patient to nurse ratio that consists of patients who require continuous bedside monitoring and treatments. Our patient population includes patient diagnosis such as arrhythmia's, myocardial infarctions, congestive heart failure, stroke, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), EKOS (extremities), and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) plus patients recovering from post procedural interventions such as heart catherizations, angioplasty, and insertion of stents.
