How You'll Make an Impact The Customer Service Associate serves as the internal voice of the customer, supporting aerospace manufacturing programs in a CNC machine shop environment. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role manages customer communication, processes orders and RFQs, and ensures timely responses and follow-through across departments. The CSR plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting quoting activities, and facilitating daily interactions with customer buyers. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and responsiveness are critical to success. What you'll be doing as a Customer Service Associate: Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location. Receive and route all customer communications to appropriate departments, ensuring timely internal follow-up. Enter customer Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and RFQs into the ERP system (e.g., JobBoss); send acknowledgments to customers. Assist in gathering pricing and supplier information for quoting activities; maintain quote tracking logs. Interface directly with customer buyers to address inquiries, concerns, and order updates. Maintain and update customer tracking tools, including Contract Review and Quote Logs. Support the Program Manager in tracking project timelines and customer deliverables. Perform basic data entry, document filing, scanning, and administrative support tasks as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience): Associate's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft professional emails and correspondence. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., JobBoss). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience): Experience working in an aerospace CNC machining or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quoting, shipping/receiving, or quality control processes. Previous experience supporting project management or program coordination. Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
