Ruby Wines company history timeline

1942

Bob’s father, Irving, having worked at the company from its start when he was 17, succeeded Samuel on the latter’s death at 91 in 1942.

1946

The company changed its name to Ruby Wines in 1946.

1953

Moving to Everett in 1953 – as its portfolio expanded – Ruby began to import wines from Europe.

1992

Ted’s son Brad joined the company in 1992 after college as the fourth generation of Ruby Wines.

1997

Continued growth required another move in 1997 to larger quarters in Avon.

2007

Stanley joined the Ruby Vineyard team in 2007 as a puppy.

2010

Bob’s daughter Jaime joined the company in 2010.

2012

In 2012, he worked at the Carlton Winemaker’s Studio, where he met the illustruous Eric Hamacher.

2013

Andrew joined Ruby Vineyard in the spring of 2016, bringing his creative energy and drive to express site with every passing vintage.
