Rudolph Chevrolet company history timeline

1918

When Chevrolet was first acquired by GM in 1918, it was with the intention to go head-to-head with Ford Motor Co and the Model T. Seven years prior was when the iconic car company was founded by Louis Chevrolet and William Durant.

1955

One of the oldest remaining dealerships on Camelback Road is Courtesy Chevrolet, which was established in 1955 at 1521 E. Camelback Road.

1958

The Chevy Impala, debuting in 1958, featured a bold design and its Classic model is one of the most admired Chevrolet cars.

1965

By 1965, the Impala set an industry record of over 1 million United States unit sales in a single year.

1966

The dealership relocated from downtown to Interstate 17 and Camelback Road in 1966.

2010

The Rudolph Chevrolet Dealership was demolished in 2010.
