    Rural Health Group, Inc, a thriving FQHC located in scenic northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide excellent quality women's health care at our RHG Family and Women's Health location in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Position includes outpatient clinic, surgery, and hospital call. RHG is centrally located on I-95, 80 miles north of Raleigh and the Research Triangle as well as 80 miles south of Richmond. Residents enjoy moderate year-round climate with lots of sunshine. The Roanoke Valley, a community of over 56,000 located just south of the Virginia border, is an outdoor paradise with hiking, hunting, fishing, mountain biking and boating Details: CNM providers must be able to obtain privileges at ECU Health North Hospital (formerly Halifax Regional Medical Center) in Roanoke Rapids. The clinic (1381 Medical Center Drive) is located adjacent to ECU North Hospital: ************************************* Rural Health Group is a separate organization from the hospital - our Women's Health providers have privileges and take call there, but this position is not for a position in a hospital practice. The organization is a 501(c)3 private corporation with a patient-majority board of directors and designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center. CNMs have one day per week surgery, the rest in outpatient clinic, with four hours of designated administrative time per week. The CNMs typically sees 15-20 patients per day in the outpatient clinic. The mix of patients (OB vs GYN) fluctuates based on demand/referrals. Deliveries are approximately 25-30 per month for the group. GYN procedures vary based on referrals - we accept patients from internal and external providers. Clinic days are allocated for GYN care and procedures. Procedure appointments are 30 - 60 minutes. This is a rural, underserved community so there are a number of high risk patients for both OB and GYN The call schedule will most likely be 1:2 weekdays (8a Mon - 5p Fri) and 1:4 weekends (5p Fri - 8a Mon). The goal is to extend the call rotation to 1:3 weekdays and 1:4 weekends. Office Staff: RNs/LPNs in the office, RN Case Manager, sonographer, RN Clinical Practice Manager, front desk staff and billing staff Board certification (or board-eligible if resident) and BLS required; NRP is required for hospital privileges The hospital does not have DaVinci at this time. Compensation: W2 preferred; 1099 model considered case-by-case Base Salary + Signing Bonus Annual 2% COLA + 1% bonus. Up to $2,500/month can be taken from the signing bonus early and applied as a residency stipend. Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 in-state and up to $10,000 out-of-state.
