Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, programming, and setup of new products to meet customer specifications. Collaborate on fixture design concepts to support laser marking of complex and multi-part products. Create clear setup instructions and templates to guide technicians during production. Maintain organized file structures and ensure compliance with validated laser marking parameters. Set up and operate laser marking equipment to meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Consistently produce quality parts within established cycle times and production targets. Perform daily equipment checks and preventative maintenance on laser marking systems. Perform part inspections in support of the quality department. Use precision measuring tools accurately and follow calibration requirements. Adhere to verification system guidelines and quality documentation standards. Complete secondary operations as needed, including glass bead blasting, hand deburring, and product washing. Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Strong understanding of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills. U.S. citizenship or ability to comply with U.S. export regulations. Ability to meet physical requirements, including wearing PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, safety shoes). For Aerospace Final Inspection roles: Must pass company eye exam (with correction if needed). Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in related discipline required. Work Environment: The Laser Marking Specialist role requires frequent time spent in manufacturing areas as well as a climate-controlled office setting.
