Candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be fellowship trained in and board-certified or board eligible in pediatric infectious disease. We are looking for pediatric physicians to see patients and mentor students and residents at both outpatient and inpatient locations through didactic and bedside teaching. The successful candidate will provide direct inpatient consultations at the Bristol Myer Squibb Children's Hospital in New Brunswick as well as at Monmouth Medical Center. The candidate will also provide direct outpatient care primarily at the East Brunswick, Child Health Institute (New Brunswick), and Eatontown ambulatory facilities. Other offsites may include Somerset, Monroe, Edison, and Lakewood. We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for teaching and enjoys caring for children with a wide variety of conditions including those who are medically complex. We value leadership. Adjacent to the RWJ Barnabas Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's hospital is the PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital, which is one of the country's largest inpatient acute rehabilitation facilities for children. The Department of Pediatrics is composed of 130 full-time and more than 200 volunteer faculty members, organized into 18 divisions including all the pediatric subspecialties and four key surgical services.
