Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Graduate Assistant to work in the Health Informatics Department.
This Graduate Assistant position is designed to support the Instructor with various aspects of online teaching, including grading, working individually with students to improve their performance, and answering questions about the course content.
High work ethics and US work authorization are required.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
* Facilitating online lessons, tutorials or discussions in concert with the Instructor.
* Providing input on grades via an Excel Sheet to be submitted to the Instructor.
* Assisting the Instructor in preparing and sharing reading materials, supplementary notes.
* Understanding and adhering to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
* Performing other related duties as assigned.

Dr. Tutwiler's lab is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team studying the biomechanics of blood clots in health and disease. The research will focus on understanding the mechanical properties of blood clots, including clot contraction, rupture resistance, and embolization potential, with relevance to thrombotic disorders such as venous thromboembolism (VTE) and pulmonary embolism (PE) and bleeding such as in gum disease.
This project combines elements of hematology, biomechanics, and translational medicine, and aims to improve the understanding of how clot structure and function contribute to embolic risk - ultimately informing diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, Rutgers, invites applications for a part-time instructor (Coadjutant) for Spring 2026 to to teach the Fundamentals of Evolution Lab (1 credit) and co-teach Senior Capstone - Ecology, Evolution & Natural Resources. Both courses will be offered by the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources and taught on the Cook/Douglass campus. The coadjutant will be responsible for meeting with the class weekly to provide lectures and/or hands-on lab instruction. The lecturers will also prepare, proctor, and grade homework, labs, quizzes, and exams, as well as provide a final course grade. The lecturers will prepare and post material to the class Canvas website and respond to student email correspondence. The coadjutant will coordinate any other requirements related to the instruction of the course.
