ASSOCIATE STATEWIDE MEDICAL DIRECTOR POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Statewide Medical Director (ASMD) is primarily accountable for the quality of medical care provided to patients throughout their assigned region. The ASMD collaborates with the Statewide Medical Director and the Regional Vice Presidents of Operations to develop long lasting client partnerships by delivering safe, efficacious, and cost-effective care.
ASSOCIATE STATEWIDE MEDICAL DIRECTOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
M.D. or D.O. Degree required.
Completion of residency in primary care specialty (Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Public Health or Occupational Medicine) preferred.
Must be board certified to practice medicine.
Must possess and be eligible for a license in the state in which supervisory services are rendered.
Must satisfy all credentialing requirements of VitalCore.
Utilization Management experience.
Must have minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Public Health, or Occupational Medicine.

ASSOCIATE STATEWIDE MEDICAL DIRECTOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure the provision of comprehensive health care in a region.
Serve as liaison for clinical matters related to on-site, off-site specialty care, emergency department services, and inpatient care.
Provide 24/7 on call back up for site Medical Directors.
Participate in Continuous Quality and Safety Improvement functions, including clinical quality indicators, patient safety chart and site audits.
Adherence to Utilization Management (UM) programs specific to the contract requirements and corporate's UM and clinical policies and procedures.
Attend facilities' meetings as required and requested.
Ensure each facility has the necessary medical equipment and tools to deliver appropriate care.
Assist with the development of medical audit criteria and clinical corrective action
Provide direction and assistance to the on-site quality improvement program, including review of grievances and development of corrective action plans involving patients and staff complaints.
Serve as discussion leader for selected in-service training classes.
Represent the health care program in discussions with local civic groups or visiting officials.
Monitor referrals to outside health care facilities for appropriateness, quality, and continuity of care.
Consult with medical providers in the community to timely resolve issues involving delivery of healthcare services to patients.
Serve as a clinical resource and director to the Site Medical Director and HSAs.
Be available for the staff and clients to expeditiously address any administrative or medical issues.
Provide medical and correctional staff training and education regarding aspects of continuity of care for patients, when requested.
Maintain active credentials required for employment by VitalCore.
Monitor compliance for maintenance of required credentials of all practitioners providing care within their assigned contracts.
Ensure compliance with re-credentialing
Ensure review of patient care information (laboratory results and previous QNXT documents) when managing on site, OPR, ED and IP care.
Sponsor advanced practice clinicians in compliance with the state law for licensure.
Participate in committee meetings as deemed necessary by VitalCore's leadership and its clients.
Assist in screening, interviewing, and evaluating credentials of healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with peer reviews per VitalCore's policies
Demonstrate flexibility when required to maintain stability and responsiveness to the unpredictable challenges in correctional health care delivery.
Have the ability to multitask through various components of the clinical and operational tasks.
Participation and compliance with all company policies, procedures, and clinical and pharmacy initiatives.
Be willing to provide direct patient care when required to meet critical needs and contractual obligations.
Participate in Business Development activities to include client meetings and proposal preparation.
Complete annual Human Resource requirements to include Performance Evaluations and Goal setting.
Perform assignments and duties that are required/requested by the CMO and/or SVP.
Maintain proficiency with all software utilized in the company that is required for the position, specifically for clinical documentation in the designated ERH system.
Attend training and meetings as required.

Perform new placements as assigned. This includes ensuring that units are ready and fully equipped/furnished prior to the arrival of the family, greeting the family at the unit, and conducting a tour and orientation to the unit and area upon the arrival of the family.

Assess, evaluate, document and report adherence to Uniform Shelter Rules on a regular basis. Coordinate all services as required.
Act as a liaison between shelter and public schools, assist with enrollment in daycares and public schools, and provide information about educational activities around parenting and children's issues for adult residents and recreational activities for the children.
Develop Rehousing Plan that is tailored to the unique needs and strengths of each family.
Work with each family to develop and implement housing action plans.
Support goal of housing search and work with Housing Search Worker to promote successful rehousing, including help with obtaining documentation for the HomeBASE application.
Advocate on behalf of clients and attend administrative hearings, if necessary.
Assist families in arranging appointments and transportation.
Provide client transportation to housing related appointments as needed.
Assist families in successfully transitioning to their own housing, including referring families to Stabilization and sharing information with the Stabilization worker.
Maintain up-to-date case notes, telephone contact log and referrals to community-based services.
Document activities and update information in ETO and/or other required databases on a bimonthly basis, including touch points, rehousing plans, and demographic information, including adding new babies to the record.
Work collaboratively with collateral providers including DCF, DYS, Early Intervention, Legal Services, BHS, etc. to ensure coordination of services.
Uphold confidentially, set limits and monitor adherence re-housing plan.
Participate as a member of the Family Emergency Services Team. Attend regular team meetings.

This role performs routine cleaning tasks, addressing immediate cleanliness concerns, and assisting in the maintenance upkeep of various club areas, such as restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, and common spaces.

* Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Day to Day
* Maintain carpets clean by vacuuming and spot cleaning where necessary. Keep all floors swept, mopped, and polished, including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, lobby and hallway areas, restrooms, and any other areas needed.
* Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, chair arms, desks, credenzas, chandeliers, pictures, televisions, woodwork, and artwork, including all ceiling HVAC registers.
* Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respective areas, to meet club standards and as communicated expectations (i.e. orderly/organized work areas, straighten/arrange entry area, picking up trash/debris, etc.).
* Perform or contract facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, special projects, and other related areas.
* Responsible for maintaining a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements.
* Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from Department Heads, members, and guests.

* Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.

* Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces (e.g., carpets, windows, restrooms) and the proper care of high-traffic areas.
* Previous training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance is a plus.
* Knowledge of and adherence to all OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and other compliance related facility maintenance.

Who will this position be working with? This position will report to the Executive Director & CEO. The coordinator will also work with staff members from other departments, other Sections, USTA National and our implementation partners as required.

Responsibilities:
* Communicate with primary Veterinary Technology faculty to determine the exact content and objectives to be fulfilled during lab sessions, as well as provide feedback to faculty about student performance post lab or tutoring sessions.
* Assist the primary Veterinary Technology faculty reviewing and evaluating student performance of clinical competencies and laboratory check-offs.
* Supervise open lab time and provide tutoring on specific Veterinary Technology content as needed.
* Offer feedback on psychomotor skills during practice and complete "check-offs" of required veterinary technology competencies.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA/CVTEA accredited program;
* Current Massachusetts certification as a veterinary technician;
* Possess a minimum of two years full time experience in veterinary technology or its' equivalent;
* Evidence of competence in the area of instruction;
* Maintained expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities.

DSP workers are provided paid New Employee Orientation, paid CPR/First Aid, PABC, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP), as well as program and person specific training at the individuals' home. The DSP must be able to safely evacuate individuals from the home in the event of an emergency.
DSP workers must maintain certifications, handle job related duties in compliance with Agency policies and follow all DDS regulations/policies.
