Provides coverage with residents, fellows and other advanced practitioners covering provider on-call schedules. Liaisons between physician and outside consulting physicians regarding patient care. Performs assessment and reassessment of the patient according to applicable department standards and identified tools. Assists physician during hospital rounds with post-op patients and with research as needed. Participates in and contributes to orthopedic educational activities for appropriate internal and external parties.
