Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will provide care in a dynamic environment, performing diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, while closely monitoring patients throughout various cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
Circulate procedures in the Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab.
Monitor and manage procedural sedation and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Build rapport with patients through effective communication and patient education.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy.
Administer and monitor medications including procedural sedation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.
Experience with cardiac arrhythmias, CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, and neuro (Stroke) preferred.

Job Overview:
The Pediatric Specialty Center is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to provide professional nursing support for pediatric patients cared for by the physician. Responsible for patient telephone follow-up clinical calls related to, but not limited to, prescription renewals, lab and x-ray results, test scheduling, prior authorizations, managing and documenting within patient medical records.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
* Current New Jersey RN licensure
Preferred:
* Experience with pediatrics
* Familiar with outpatient setting
Certifications and Licenses Required:
* BLS Certification approved by the American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements:
* Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
* Tuesday 9:30am - 8:00am
* Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Functions:
* Administers injections
* Provide patient education - injection training
* Pre-certification of any procedures/medications
* Provide responses and outcomes to care provided
* Works closely with Data Entry coordinator on research registries
* Support center physicians' clinical needs, showing medications, instructions
* Liaison between families and providers to recruit patients for Research registries
* Attend Trial Meetings/ participates in teleconferences as required by the Sponsor
* Responsible for Research Regulatory IRB protocols, including submission to IRB
* Coordinates the clinical protocols within the code of good clinical practice as regulated by the FDA
* Assures that the facility meets all expectations of the study for the trial during site inspections and monitoring visits
* Meets with the study monitor and sponsors during scheduled site visits; maintains effective working relationships with clinical research staff of Sponsors
