Post Intensive Care III is also known as the Respiratory Care Unit,
It is comprised of 19 bed each with a bedside monitor and the capability for step down ICU/progressive care,
We care for a vast array of medical patients including ALS, chronic ventilator patients, pneumonia, alcohol withdrawal,
This is a 36 hours per week, night shift position, weekend rotation and holidays mandatory,
Required:
Current NJ nursing license
Ventilator experience
Step Down ICU or progressive care experience
Proficiency documenting in EPIC
Certifications and Licenses Required:
BLS and ACLS certification

The Burn Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (formerly Saint Barnabas Medical Center) is the only state-certified burn treatment facility in New Jersey, and one of the largest in North America. With 12 intensive care beds and an 18-bed step-down unit for less critically injured patients. The Burn Center provides expert care for patients of all ages. We are seeking a compassionate, intensive care RegisteredNurse to care for our patients in their time of need.
QUALIFICATION:
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating.
REQUIRED:
* 2 plus years of critical care/intensive care experience as a RegisteredNurse
* Current and active New Jersey RN licensure is required.
* Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS, APLS, or ENPC courses are required.
* BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required upon hire.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Nurse to provide patient care in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, with the ability to adapt to multiple units within the hospital as needed.
Responsibilities
Float between multiple units, including MS/Tele, Post Coronary Care, Post Intensive Care, Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedics, Geriatric, Wound Care, and Transitional Care.
Monitor and manage patient care, including but not limited to: cardiac telemetry, pre/post cardiac procedures, administration of medications, and IV management.

Adhere to hospital policies and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
