VicePresident, Ambulatory Health Informatics
Job Overview:
The RWJBH VicePresident of Ambulatory Health Informatics will function as the Ambulatory CMIO and physician executive responsible for the strategic direction and management of clinical information systems across all ambulatory/outpatient care settings within the system. This role leads the development, implementation, and optimization of ambulatory clinical systems, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and clinical care delivery in the outpatient environment. This position will report to the CHIO to ensure that technology investments and implementations support the organizations ambulatory clinical objectives while enhancing practice efficiency and patient outcomes.

* The VicePresident of Ambulatory Health Informatics reports directly to the SVP & Chief Health Information Officer - CHIO, RWJBarnabas Health
Qualifications:
* Licensed and board-certified MD/DO with recent clinical experience and ability to maintain an active Ambulatory practice at RWJBH
* Board Certification in Clinical Informatics and their clinical specialty
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a physician informatics leader with progressive leadership responsibilities in a complex, multi-specialty healthcare environment
* Fellowship Training in Medical Informatics, Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or master's in clinical informatics preferred
* Epic Certifications including Physician Builder preferred

* Clinical decision support and workflow optimization for outpatient care
* Clinician adoption and engagement in ambulatory and clinic settings
* Population health and preventive care initiatives

* Liaison with Rutgers promoting Research and Academics, including the development of a Clinical Informatics Fellowship

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or closely related field.

U.S. Base Pay Ranges and Benefits Information
The estimated annual base salary as a new hire for this position ranges from [$267,500 to $323,600]. I: Job Summary
Reporting to the CIO, the VP/CISO, will provide strategic and tactical leadership of global information security, disaster recovery, IT risk management, computer systems validation and compliance programs for the enterprise. He/she will establish and evolve the Information Security strategy & roadmaps to meet or exceed all regulatory agencies, government, client partnerships and compliance mandates utilizing a standard risk-based framework that can provide consistent & repeatable practices. This leader will drive the technology and architectural direction including awareness programs that enables effective & lean delivery across the business & IT organizations that achieves cost optimization, quality improvement, bottom-line results while protecting and enabling the business from the evolving security threat landscape.

II: Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Sets the vision, strategy & direction for the development & implementation of comprehensive information security, disaster recovery, IT risk management & compliance programs.
Own Board of Directors & Executive level communication and interaction including consulting, understanding of business strategies and translating complex information security threats, risks & programs into achievable, sustainable and innovative technology solutions, capability maturity roadmaps.
Develop and deliver a tiered security dashboard appropriate for each level of cybersecurity governance. Proactively identify problems, measure progress and continuously improve cybersecurity operations.
Create & lead the development of an enterprise Information security awareness program to ensure compliance & that the organization understands the trade-off between risk and return.
Understand and translate the trade-offs required to manage the different levels of risk tolerance and risk exposure across the organization and balance this with risk investments
Leads team to successfully implement security standards, procedures & guidelines for the enterprise as well as reporting security performance against established security metrics.
Ensures and monitors security compliance with industry and government rules and regulations. (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SEC)
Build, develop and retain cybersecurity talent. Support employees in their career development by providing guidance on career paths, opportunities for advancement, and skill development. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Liaise with external agencies, such as law enforcement and other advisory bodies as necessary, to ensure that the organization maintains a strong security posture.
Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.

III: Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related discipline required; Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Information Security
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) serving as an organizations lead security executive
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing facility operations.
Technical understanding of applications, networks, and databases. Understanding of Cloud technologies (e.g. SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
Experience in the Defense industry preferred.
Industry recognized certifications in the information security and risk management fields with knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances & frameworks.
Deep understanding of CSV guidelines issued by regulatory agencies including FDA and MHRA and standards such as GAMP5.

U.S. Base Pay Ranges and Benefits Information

The Director of Field Operations (DFO) provides leadership, direction, mentorship, and management for multiple markets within the organization with combined revenues of $100MM or greater. The role has responsibility for the fiscal performance of assigned markets and translation of organizational objectives into market-specific objectives that increase efficiency and effectiveness. The position is based out of the home market and frequently travels to other assigned markets to develop hospital leaders, guide progress toward the strategic plan, and drive operational excellence.
As a Veterinary Director of Field Operations, you will:
Champion and represent the BluePearl mission and vision in all interactions.
Communicate and support key initiatives impacting hospital staff, translating organizational objectives into market and hospital-specific action plans.
In partnership with the region's RVPs, you will monitor hospital KPIs and manages the execution of plans to achieve KPI performance objectives.
Manage revenue targets of $100+ million.
Consistently assess the engagement level of associates; take a proactive approach to influence and drive a positive hospital climate. Accountable for associate engagement and retention.
Foster a collaborative and trusting relationship between the Support Team and hospitals, providing feedback and engaging in dialogue to facilitate continuous improvement.
Lead, direct, mentor and develop direct reports and high-potential indirect reports to ensure hospitals have effective and engaged local leadership. Ensures a culture of self-development is present amongst leaders and contributes to the creation of a talent pipeline to support future organizational growth.
In partnership with P&O, responsible for hiring, training, performance coaching, and succession planning for hospital management positions.
Ensure standards for service quality, equipment, and Clinician productivity/performance are met and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production. Ensures fixed assets are preserved. Initiates recommendations for purchases of new equipment and improvements.
Advise direct reports regarding labor issues including safety, security, scheduling, training, and protocols. Ensures direct reports are adhering to company policies.
Maintain current knowledge of information technology as relates to hospital operations.
Partner with assigned Vet Relations Manager(s) (VRMs) to collaborate on pDVM referral strategies that impact assigned markets.
Work collaboratively with the BluePearl Support Team to develop solutions for escalated hospital matters and influences hospitals to shape adoption and ensure effectiveness of resolutions.
