As a Consulting Sales Arborist at RYAN, you will be the trusted advisor to our clients, responsible for consulting with clients on their tree care needs and identifying solutions using your knowledge of arboriculture. Your responsibilities will include: * Meeting with clients in person and via phone/email to assess their needs and to provide expert advice and solutions to solve their problems. * Writing up detailed proposals for tree pruning and removal services. * Managing your sales pipeline through follow-ups and seeking referrals. * Accurately estimating man hours required to complete projects to ensure hourly production rates are met. * Verifying site conditions throughout the project and document critical site details as well as any required specialized equipment. * Identifying latent needs on the property, to include plant health issues, identifying pest concerns, evaluating turf conditions, and identifying potential landscape enhancements. * Staying current with industry best practice in arboriculture. * Supporting a culture of safety within the pruning department. * Representing RYAN at local events and community activities to promote our full range of services. Requirements * ISA Certified Arborist or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. * Minimum of 1-3 years in a client-facing role within the green industry. Experience in high-end residential services is highly valued. * Knowledge of tree work production rates or experiences as a production climber a plus. * Specific expertise in arboriculture. A strong foundational understanding of plant health principles, common landscape pests and diseases, basic turf care concepts, and landscaping fundamentals is a plus. ISA certification or a degree in a related field (arboriculture, horticulture, forestry, landscape design, etc.) is beneficial. * Proven ability to understand client needs, effectively present solutions encompassing multiple service lines, and close projects while meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential. * A genuine passion for helping clients achieve healthy, beautiful, and functional outdoor environments and a dedication to delivering exceptional service across all their needs. * The ability to work effectively with diverse production teams and internal departments to ensure cohesive and successful project outcomes. * Comfortable using CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Google Suite. * Active involvement in local professional or community groups is a plus. Processes payments to the Violations Bureau, both in person and through the mail. 3. Verifies ticket information and manually enters tickets when needed; prints labels, prepares and sends summons to the defendant as required; processes traffic and criminal tickets in preparation for court. 4. Collection, deposit and complete processing of all bonds for Blue Spring Municipal Court posted at the Blue Springs Police Department; depositing all cash bonds collected, computer entry/receipting of all bonds collected and applying and filing the bonds in the proper cases. 5. Processes all failure to appear notification to the defendant on minor moving and non-moving traffic violations. Respond to and process attorney entry of appearance, motions and requests received. 6. Process record checks for individual as well as for law enforcement and other governmental agencies; being able to discern between closed and open cases. 7. Shares responsibility for the preparation of court dockets prior to court sessions, processing of all prisoner forms and any other necessary paperwork for both before and after court, deposit of all monies collected during court, processing of all records of conviction immediately following court, processing of all fingerprint cards immediately following court, final computer entry for all disposed cases for the court session, and any other function needed to complete the processing of any and all cases for the court session. 8. Shares responsibility for on call duties after normal business hours (to include weekends); answering questions pertaining to warrants for prisoners currently in custody, processing of commitment forms for prisoners to be transported to the police department's holding facility and contacting one of the Blue Springs judges in regards to release or early commitment of a prisoner. 9. Assist the Court Administrator and other clerks as assigned. The above duties and responsibilities include those tasks, physical and mental requirements, visual requirements, unique physical surroundings and mental/cognitive abilities required to perform the essential elements of the position. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Education and Special License(s)/Certifications - High school diploma or equivalent required. 2.     The Fieldhouse Attendant is responsible for customer service in all areas of the Fieldhouse. This position will be responsible for supervising activities at the Fieldhouse ensuring safety, rules, and regulations are followed while meeting the needs of the facility patrons. At times the Fitness Attendant will help all patrons in the fitness center feel welcome and comfortable using all equipment. monitoring proper use of fitness equipment machines to ensure machines are being used properly. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the fitness center and keep all equipment, machines, and spaces to look their best always. Serves as a representative for the Fieldhouse with a cheerful and welcoming attitude towards users. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supervision of fitness center, Aerobics Room, and Spin Studio. Enforces Fieldhouse policies and procedures pertaining to all areas. 2. When working in the fitness center greet all patrons entering the facility. Handle customer service inquiries and related problems. Be knowledgeable of all Fieldhouse programs and services to answer questions or channel questions to the proper staff. 3. In case of emergency, notify appropriate agency as dictated by the emergency. 4. Always carry a radio and assist front desk staff as needed with patron questions or issues. 5. Promote Department programs/facilities/events. 6. Complete Facility Count Log daily. 7. Keeps rooms in the facility neat and orderly. Performs light cleaning according to schedule. 8. When working in the fitness center always monitor equipment for proper use. Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues to supervisor immediately. 9. Give equipment orientations to those that request or those that are new. 10. Ensures that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to. 11. Communicate effectively with patrons, supervisors, and co-workers. 12. Keep towels clean and stocked throughout the Fieldhouse facility. 13. Follows protocols for opening and closing of facility. 14. Assists with other duties as assigned. 1. Education and Special License(s)/Certifications - Acceptable combination of education and work experience. First Aid/CPR desired or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. 2. Experience - Past experience in the area of building supervision preferred. 3. Skills - Clear communication skills required. Ability to provide supervision to assigned areas of facility. Maintain positive relationships with members and patrons. 4. Mental Requirements - Ability to make sound decisions and use good judgement. Communicate effectively with patrons. 5. Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods; must be able to walk frequently; must be able to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and use general office equipment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds 6.     JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Provides administrative and clerical support for the City of Blue Springs Municipal Court. $16.53 hourly DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Answers inquiries over the phone and in-person regarding court dates, continuances, fine amounts, bond and warrant information, dispositions, and other information required by defendants, attorneys and the general public. 2. Processes payments to the Violations Bureau, both in person and through the mail. 3. Verifies ticket information and manually enters tickets when needed; prints labels, prepares and sends summons to the defendant as required; processes traffic and criminal tickets in preparation for court. 4. Collection, deposit and complete processing of all bonds for Blue Spring Municipal Court posted at the Blue Springs Police Department; depositing all cash bonds collected, computer entry/receipting of all bonds collected and applying and filing the bonds in the proper cases. 5. Processes all failure to appear notification to the defendant on minor moving and non-moving traffic violations. Respond to and process attorney entry of appearance, motions and requests received. 6. Process record checks for individual as well as for law enforcement and other governmental agencies; being able to discern between closed and open cases. 7. Shares responsibility for the preparation of court dockets prior to court sessions, processing of all prisoner forms and any other necessary paperwork for both before and after court, deposit of all monies collected during court, processing of all records of conviction immediately following court, processing of all fingerprint cards immediately following court, final computer entry for all disposed cases for the court session, and any other function needed to complete the processing of any and all cases for the court session. 8. Shares responsibility for on call duties after normal business hours (to include weekends); answering questions pertaining to warrants for prisoners currently in custody, processing of commitment forms for prisoners to be transported to the police department's holding facility and contacting one of the Blue Springs judges in regards to release or early commitment of a prisoner. 9. Assist the Court Administrator and other clerks as assigned. The above duties and responsibilities include those tasks, physical and mental requirements, visual requirements, unique physical surroundings and mental/cognitive abilities required to perform the essential elements of the position. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Education and Special License(s)/Certifications - High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Experience - Six months to one year of general office experience and cash handling required. Six months to one year of experience in Municipal Court, legal or public safety field preferred. 3. Skills - Telephone customer service skills, typing, filing, multi-task, team player, organized, detailed, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as required. Must have the ability to efficiently operate a computer, (experience with Word, Excel are required, and InCode court software experience is preferred) fax, copy machines, multi-line telephone, credit card machine, and 10-key adding machine. 4. Mental Requirements - Ability to accurately maintain detailed clerical records and prepare reports. Ability to communicate effectively and interface on a one-to-one basis with the general public. Ability to maintain effective working relations with employees, other departments, officials, and the public. Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, also having the ability to type and enter data accurately. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. 5. Physical Requirements - Must be able to sit for prolonged periods; must be able to listen and respond to normal conversation; must be able to walk occasionally, and use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to reach with hands and arms; must be able to have vision sufficient to see close up and have the ability to adjust focus; and, must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and transport it 15 feet.
