Registered Veterinary Technician
This individual will be a direct report for the technician team and will be responsible for several tasks including to help ensure the hospital is running to the best of its ability. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Staff scheduling
• Hold monthly staff meetings

• Performing difficult conversations and formally documenting employees if needed.
• Ensuring all hospital policies and protocols are being followed.

General Purpose: The Radiology Director will perform X-rays and CT scans. The Radiology Director will communicate the state of Radiology functions to the CEO on a regular basis. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Establish, review and revise radiology policies and procedures. Establish, review and revise quality assurance procedures for the radiology department. To review preventative maintenance for equipment and instruments. Reviews and is knowledgeable about equipment and instrument contracts. Review patient reports and billing charges to assure appropriate patient care. Train and encourage staff compliance with safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment. Train and encourage staff compliance with HIPAA regulations. To assure the compliance of departmental and institutional policies, procedures, and regulations. Train, supervise and assist in the evaluation of work performance of the departmental staff. Develop work performance standards. Assure appropriate staff coverage and workloads. Provide technical expertise as needed or requested. Participate in long range planning for new hospital departmental services and in developing and maintaining departmental budgets. Operates equipment associated with Computed Radiography (CR), Digital Radiography (DR), diagnostic/clinical workstations, film digitizers, optical disk storage systems, network and computer interface.
Performs general diagnostic imaging activities; reproduces images.
Works closely with providers and assists in appropriate diagnostics.
Cleans and inspects equipment and performs preventive maintenance. Receives patients, prepares and processes examination requests and related records, files images and reports.
Knowledge of supplies, equipment and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards.
Perform other related duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital.
Participates in hospital/community events as a committee member.

Working in a hospital creates a unique work environment of both confidentiality and hospitality. The addition of an Extended Care Facility to the organization creates of a level of expectation for the behavior of all employees when interacting with the residents on a daily basis. This is the residents' home and as such requires an additional level of attention to detail from all staff. An interaction with staff, patients and patients families also occurs on a daily basis.
The job will generally be performed 85% of the time in doors with minimal outside exposure unless the individual is required to move between buildings on the NHLC campus. Normal noise levels (those of business office with large equipment) can be expected.
Physical Activities:

Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.

North Platte Valley Medical Center is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in Saratoga, WY. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide nursing care to patients and assist them in daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting and other duties within their scope of practice determined by the state of Wyoming.
The ideal Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) candidate is dependable, compassionate, punctual, and enjoys helping others. This person must be reliable, empathetic, and be able to work with all types of people.
Responsibilities:
Patient care - The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) instills confidence and trust in patients in a competent and caring manner. Provide hygiene and daily living assistance. This could include toileting, bathing, and assisting patients with showers. Support the patient with meals as needed. Ambulate, turn, and position patients as required.
Professional development - The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) maintains any specialized training and, if applicable, perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned patient or area.
Must maintain HIPAA compliant and follow policies pertaining to PHI.
Must be able to work collaboratively as a team
Must attend all mandatory departmental and facility wide meetings
Must be able to work with long-term care residents and ensure patient safety at all times.
Must have the ability to learn the electronic medical record system and ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner
Must have the ability to communicate to fellow staff as well as the interdisciplinary team for continuity of patient care.
Receive and report resident status at the beginning and end of each shift and as needed
Make room checks and verify resident location
Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed
Perform vital signs, B/Ps, weights and other trained procedures as directed by management
Report all changes in residents' conditions to the Nursing Supervisor as soon as practical
Prepare residents for meals and assist to and from the dining areas
Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course or the equivalent
Must hold a Wyoming CNA license and an active BLS certification
Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times
Schedule:
NPVMC promotes a 12-hour, 7 on 7 off rotating schedule
Shift availability: We have open roles for both day shift and night shift role

Responsibilities
Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Makes recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate
Maintains patient/resident database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication (including over-the-counter and home remedies)
Ensures that appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring certain high-risk conditions are ordered, evaluated and discussed with appropriate members of the healthcare team
Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed
Documents all communication with physicians, nurses, other members of the healthcare team and patients/residents and their family members in the medical record
Implements policies and procedures for the safe procurement, storage, distribution and use of drugs and biologicals, as well as disposal of drugs
Obtains, as necessary, and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies and policy
Informs the Pharmacy Manager of medication related errors
Assists facility/agency staff personnel with procedures relating to safe and effective methods of procuring, maintaining, administering and disposing of drugs
Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; Pharm D preferred
One year experience in long-term care
Licenses/Certifications: As required by government regulations and business needs
Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, oral communication
