If you start their young, you can rise to C level over time.
If you start later in career you'll never advance farther than a few steps. They want to only support those that spent their whole career there with few exceptions.
Stable company but still lays off people even in a good financial position just in case the market goes down.

The dog whistles of racism are highly prevalent in many many areas. They closed their DEI c suite position and opened one at a lower level that has very little affect on hiring practices. They hire white and light. They tolerate Latino since HQ is in Miami but most managers are racist white males.

Mostly comprised of white males there is little diversity in leadership roles at Ryder. Each area will have a few women or people of color but there are some areas that haven't had a women in 10 years, or never promoted a black man. Leadership pretends not to notice.
Most people will say the people because that's all they know is one company they always worked at. The real difference is they will let their people try out new roles say from marketing move to finance or collections to sales.
Time off was good
Management human resources benefits of horrible pay and very low for the industry and they do not care about their employees at all
As soon as you hire underwriter you get two weeks of vacation time five sick days and two floating holidays that's the best thing that they can offer
