Role Summary
The Revenue Management Analyst works on a fast-paced team whose responsibilities include demand forecasting, revenue optimization, and analyzing changes in market conditions such as capacity, competition, schedules and fares. The Revenue Management team makes decisions in the development, implementation, and tracking of appropriate inventory allocation strategies and provide recommendations to generate revenue and push the business forward.
Key Duties
In the entry level, you will develop proficiency in Revenue Management Systems, including demand forecasting, elasticity, and marginal revenue transformation, and provide input into the design and implementation of strategies to optimize revenue.
In the intermediate level, you will use a solid understanding of revenue management principles to analyze market conditions, adjust overbooking levels and historical no-shows, extract relevant commercial data from dashboards, databases, and Revenue Management Systems to implement revenue optimizing strategies, and communicate strategies and results to senior management.
In the senior level, as a subject matter expert in analyzing changes in market conditions, you will apply deep knowledge to determine an approach to ambiguous business challenges, be accountable to meeting/exceeding unit revenue goals and KPI's, create process improvements, and exercise considerable judgement on inventory strategy decisions that you will communicate across the company.

Create and update existing price matrixes from material increase/decrease form. Continually create more efficient and effective matrixes, as well as pricing spreadsheets, utilizing state of the art computer software.
Be proficient in Radius as it pertains to pricing within the COE.
Make recommendations for improving pricing process.
Take a leadership role in developing new or enhancing old pricing tools.
Work with the Business Development Manager to prioritize weekly team output and review and approve day to day quote updates and basic APCS projects.
Work with Accounting as required to further optimize the connection between pricing and costing functions to analyze ongoing business and provide feedback that will help guide business decisions.

Pricing Analyst
The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing pricing data and trends to help DSV remain competitive in the transportation and logistics industry. They will work closely with other departments, including sales and operations, to develop pricing strategies that drive business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where DSV can improve its pricing strategies.
Develop pricing models and strategies that take into account factors such as market conditions, competition, and customer demand.
Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs.
Monitor pricing performance and adjust pricing strategies as needed to remain competitive.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
Maintain pricing databases and ensure that pricing information is accurate and up-to-date.
Educational background / Work experience
2+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with large amounts of data and identify trends.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
Master's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry.
Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
Language skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Computer Literacy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $26-$30 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.

Job Title: Pricing Analyst JOB PURPOSE Perform all day-to-day activities in bid summary, carrier relations, and tariff ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all departmental deadlines are met to company guidelines (including status reports.)
Research pricing discrepancies and ensure they are properly resolved.
Run cost analysis reports.
Create and maintain accurate pricing contracts.

Load contracts into TI/TMS.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree or
3 - 5 years industry experience with high school diploma.
