For 40 years, C. P. Broussard has dedicated his skills to the advancement of information technology. Starting with his pursuit of formal education in computer science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (then the University of Southwestern Louisiana), Clyde C. P. Broussard earned a Bachelor of Science in 1971. Next, he completed several classes at the University of Houston after working as a Tech Specialist for Lockheed Martin Corporation's NASA division. After his term at Lockheed, C. P. Broussard went to work for Hughes Tool Company while continuing his coursework in computer science. In 1981, he accepted a job with Houston-based S & B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. Thirty years later, C. P. Broussard remains with the company and now holds the position of Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Overseeing the firm's IT department, he continues to research new technology and formulate strategies for automation.

A lifetime member of an organization dedicated to memorializing fallen officers, C. P. Broussard is also a member of Houston's Meadowcreek Village Civic Club. In addition, he serves as a volunteer coach for St. Thomas High School and the Oak Meadow, Forest Oaks and Allendale (OFA) Little League baseball team. In his free time, Clyde Broussard enjoys freshwater and saltwater fishing, hunting, traveling, reading, and four-wheeling in his all-terrain vehicles.
