This position is 14/14 schedule. **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Will be responsible for regularly scheduled large scale preventative maintenance and corrective repair maintenance activities on large COOP compression fleet and additional rotating equipment including VRU's, Air Compressors and a variety of pumps. + Actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies. + Follow safe operating practices as described in the MCBU Control of Work Standards and maintain a safe working environment. + Responsible for work order management through SAP and mobile applications, pre-work scoping activities, rotating equipment troubleshooting, and other equipment reliability efforts. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Valid Driver's License. + Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays on assigned work schedule and overtime as workload demands. + Must be able to read and interpret manuals and other technical materials. + 5+ years of oil & gas compression/mechanical related experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Associates of Applied Science degree or higher or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in Compression, Industrial Maintenance Technology or related mechanical technology discipline. + 5 years current industrial mechanical experience, with emphasis on reciprocating engines, compressors, centrifugal compressors, turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, and generators. + Demonstrated commitment to Chevron Way Values. + Strong verbal and written communication. + Able to work with limited supervision. + Familiarity with reliability efforts for a variety of safety, environmental and production related issues. + Ability to perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of major oil and gas production and facility process systems. + Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), SAP S/4HANA , and an aptitude for learning new software applications. + Ability to perform multiple tasks with limited supervision. + Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a diverse team. + Caterpillar Engine certificate and/or training. + Ariel Compressor certificate and/or training. **IMPORTANT NOTE:** As part of the application process, you will be required to take an assessment that measures aptitude and work styles.
