Hours:
6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday-Friday) plus overtime.
Compensation:
At S&C, we provide competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated hourly base pay rate for this position is $20. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual short-term incentive bonus, subject to eligibility criteria.

As a Pad-Mount Gear Assembler, you'll play a key role in building high-quality electrical enclosures that support the reliability of the power grid.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble pad-mount gear enclosures ranging in size from 42" x 37" x 70" to 86" x 94" x 76".
* Identify, transport, install, mount, and bolt all types of components (ranging from 5 lbs. to 100 lbs., with assistance), including bus assemblies, high-voltage switches, mounting and support plates, lock assemblies, doors, and roofs.
* Perform mechanical inspections using torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
* Use material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, air-impact tools, gauges, and overhead cranes.
* Work in a fast-paced assembly environment following standardized work instructions and meeting specified Takt Time requirements.
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED required

As an Assembler, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. In this job, you will assemble VISTA units and corresponding subassemblies. You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous productive activity, and must meet requirements within time constraints. This is an assembly line operation involving as many as six stations. Initially you will be assigned to one station but will need to be flexible and open to working additional stations as business needs require. Tasks require a high degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion. You will frequently use hand and power tools; occasionally work while standing on ladders; and occasionally work inside tight compartments.

* Assemble VISTA Switch, both on the assembly line and directly on the shop floor.
