What you'll Need To Succeed: Required * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or relevant experience. * 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or sourcing environment. * Experience with PPAP and DFMEA. * Expert proficiency in CAD. Experience with Solid Edge preferred. * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including casting, stamping, injection molding, etc. * Expert proficiency in GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. * Understanding of materials and design considerations based on environmental performance. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight timelines. This position is for a team-oriented, experienced, team member with a background in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science with interests in product design, simplification, and development. Tasks will range from providing subject matter expertise on Materials and Mechanical Engineering principles and leading investigations during design cycles to the conceptual development of subsystems and refinement of concepts to foundational subsystem technologies.
