SUMMARY: We are looking for an addition to our Maintenance Team that has a background in electronics troubleshooting ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties to include but not limited to installation, set up programming, trouble shooting and repair of machinery, instruments, controls and related equipment. Individual will demonstrate advanced electrical trouble shooting skills, a through working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and the ability to install and maintain electrical systems. Work from sketches, equipment manuals, basic designs, specifications and verbal instructions. Continue to keep abreast of new developments through study, schooling, etc. as necessary. Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations. Assist other maintenance personnel as well. Will assist in training when needed. Other duties may be assigned. Your role As a Field Service Technician at Leybold, you will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and service vacuum pumps and related equipment (mechanical and electrical) across a designated territory. This remote role is customer-facing and revenue-generating, with a strong focus on aftermarket sales, technical support, and relationship building. We are seeking a highly qualified air compressor technician who is experienced troubleshooting a variety of compressor makes and models. Service Technicians are responsible for performing shop and/or field repairs, maintenance service and troubleshooting of air compressors and its components. MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. This position will be located in the Charleston, SC or surrounding area, reporting to the Service Manager at the Aiken, SC branch for MGX Equipment Services. * Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year. Relocation assistance may also be available to those who qualify. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes. Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision. Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections. Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports. Provides excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician preferred. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred. Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics. Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required. Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus. Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Basic computer skills preferred.
