Our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a QC Analyst to join their team!
- Pay: $25-30/hr ($25/hr for entry level/recent graduate)
- Shift: 1st shift M-F
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The QC Analyst I performs testing of samples submitted to the laboratory in a cGMP compliant manner, as well as according to approved written procedures. The QC Analyst I may be required to write or revise SOPs, analytical procedures, or other analytical documentation at the discretion of quality control supervisory staff.
KEY DUTIES:
Perform testing in accordance with written procedures (i.e. USP/EP/JP grade)
Documentation of laboratory activities including worksheet/notebook entries according to procedures that define laboratory documentation practices.
Processing of electronic data using procedures that ensure data integrity and security.
Ship samples to contract testing facilities.
Entry of test results from contract laboratories
Review and countersign (when necessary) logbooks, notebooks, and worksheets for the purpose of verifying compliance with written procedures, good documentation practices, data integrity and accuracy of calculations.
Transcribe results onto analysis reports.
Perform daily standardization and performance verifications on laboratory equipment.
Comply with site-wide procedures including but not limited to change control, documentation, deviation reporting, cGMP compliance, safety, and electronic data security.
Identify deviations to written procedures.
Disposal of laboratory waste on an as needed basis.
Identify and report unsafe conditions within the laboratory.
Identify OOS results, atypical results, and atypical laboratory events requiring a laboratory investigation; perform investigative testing.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to perform routine analysis, such as wet chemistry and operate basic laboratory equipment.
Understands paperwork review process.
Ability to follow written procedures and exhibit excellent documentation practices.
Basic laboratory knowledge and skills
analytical techniques in wet chemistry/chromatography
Practical experience with various types of laboratory instrumentation
Troubleshooting skills with analytical methodology and instrumentation.
Technical writing skills
Employee must be able to pass a vision exam prior to employment and annually thereafter.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry with 0-2 years of laboratory experience. Other fields of specialty in Sciences are also acceptable provided sufficient chemistry coursework is completed.

Job Summary:
Perform various routine laboratory functions with precision and accuracy to assist the laboratory professional staff and facilitate production.
Job Requirements:
Sort and receive specimens in the department.
Perform routine instrument maintenance on some equipment.
Perform laboratory tasks, including centrifuging specimens, printing extra labels, recording data (e.g., temperature charts), and managing specimen storage and retrieval.
Prepare reagents and/or media for the department.
Prepare specimens at workstations for testing, including building worklists, aliquoting specimens into sample cups, checking specimens for clots and fibrin, inoculation, and slide preparation.
Perform QA/QC duties as assigned.
Resolve pending lists and locate missing samples.
Decontaminate work areas.
Perform weekly radioactive wipe tests.
Maintain department records and files.
Change gas cylinders as needed.
Follow all PPE requirements and safety regulations.
Use the laboratory computer system and operate PCs.
Dispose of biohazardous material.
Complete training and competency checklists as appropriate.

We are hiring a Medical Lab Scientist (Generalist) to support our client, in their busy, high-volume core laboratory in Deerfield Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be an experienced MLS with a valid Florida license, capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform clinical laboratory testing as a generalist in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments

Review, validate, and document laboratory results

Skills & Qualifications:

The Analytical Lab Technician supports Car Care manufacturing operations by performing routine and non-routine analytical testing to ensure raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet established quality specifications. This role ensures timely and accurate analytical data to support production, product release, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:?
Conduct analytical and physical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following approved test methods.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, viscometers, and FTIR.
Accurately document test results in laboratory databases in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
Support manufacturing troubleshooting by providing analytical data, insights, and timely feedback.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, manage chemical inventory, and ensure adherence to all safety and environmental procedures.
Participate in method verifications, instrument qualifications, and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Production Teams, Product Engineers, and the Production Manager to ensure timely testing and product release.
Maintain finished goods retention samples in accordance with the Company's Quality Policy.
Escalate analytical or product quality issues to R&D to ensure timely investigation and resolution.
Support R&D in product testing for new product introductions and process qualifications

Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing product testing support to engineers. Assist in design, development, and improvements to existing products by providing product testing services of performance and endurance to many different industry standards. Responsibilities:
Complete defined engineering design verification and validation test plans for product development while Identifying potential product quality issues before product launch date.

Complete up to 150 Work Requests with written Test Reports annually
Conduct root cause failure analysis on field returned products and report findings
Maintain and care for the laboratory and related equipment and tools to ISO 17025 requirements
Maintain a 5s work environment with a minimum of 85% audit compliance
Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess an AS or BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or related field and 2+ year of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of experience and education
Strong emphasis is given to outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Previous experience setting up performance tests using laboratory equipment and instrumentation is preferred
Knowledge of use and care of testing equipment including pressure gauges, flow meters, load cells, and pressure transducers preferred
Familiarity and understanding of ISO 17025 quality documents such as SOP's, design specs, work instructions, training guides and test methods

Primary Responsibilities
Assists in the receiving, weighing and extraction of samples within a study to support product registration and to develop biologically active research chemicals. Supports laboratory testing and data generation as outlined by the principal investigators for the Regulatory Analytical Sciences residue studies.

Interact regularly with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and with an assortment of automated equipment such as liquid handlers.
