1 PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary role of the Accounts Payable Coordinator is to assist the accounts payable team in the processing and payment of vendors used by S.T. Wooten Corporation. Position has direct responsibility for assisting with purchase order auditing and distribution, data entry, payment history files, and vendor numbers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Accounts Payable Coordinator 1.) Processing purchase orders received from field offices and auditing against invoices received from vendors for project cost and payment authorization. 2.) Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, rakes, or related equipment. 2.) Start machine, engage clutch, and push and move levers, switches, and pedals to guide machine along forms or guidelines and to control the operation of machine attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms. 3.) Drive and maneuver equipment equipped with blades in successive passes over working areas to remove topsoil, vegetation, or rocks or to distribute and level earth or terrain and/or materials. 4.) Operate machines to spread, smooth, level, or steel-reinforce stone or asphalt on road beds. 5.) Operate tamping machines or manually roll surfaces to compact earth fills, foundation forms, and finished road materials, according to grade specifications. 6.) Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow, and indicate low spots for workers to add material. 7.) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required Work Experience: Minimum of 3 plus years' experience preferred as a concrete finisher. Previous bridge construction experience a plus. Forming and pouring concrete foundations, walls and slabs. Previous carpentry experience a plus. Must be a minimum of 21 years old. Candidate must have a good work ethic and work as a team player. Must be able to work nights, weekends or overtime as needed. Overnight travel will be required for Asheville, NC job. Meet departmental grooming and performance standards and have a regular and predictable attendance. Other: Must have a valid driver's license with a good MVR. Candidate must have reliable transportation to the job site. Must not be frighten of heights or working near or over water. Heavy physical demands: Heavy physical effort required including pulling and lifting or moving heavy weight material with frequent lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 80 pounds).
