Timothy J. Adams is President and CEO of Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH), a professional services firm with origins in the high technology and technical support areas of the defense industry. Mr. Adams founded SA-TECH in Oxnard, CA in 1989 and later moved its headquarters to Largo, MD in 1994. Since that time, SA-TECH has grown into a multi-million dollar diversified company with employees around the country. It is a successful contractor services provider, and one of the largest privately held, minority-owned businesses in the nation.

Mr. Adams holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University in New Orleans, LA. He has also attended the Minority Business Executive Program at Tuck College of Business at Dartmouth College, the Business Innovation Management Program at the A. James Clark School of Engineering, and the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.

As an active business leader in the State of Maryland and Prince George’s County, Mr. Adams has been instrumental in advancing both Minority Business Enterprise and Diversity of Business initiatives in the National Capitol Region. For his steadfast resolve in these endeavors, as well as his philanthropic activities in support of education and disadvantaged youth, Mr. Adams has been the recipient of numerous awards, and recognized as a champion and leader of diversity-based business solutions.

Bill Smith is a CFO at Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. and is based in Washington D.C. Metro Area. He has worked as Sr. Manager, Contracts & Pricing at Dyncorp CSC Company; CFO at WORD OF LIFE FELLOWSHIP INC; and Director, Contracts and Subcontracts at PAE. Bill studied at George Mason University School of Business between 1985 and 1987.
