Prior to founding Saama, Suresh successfully launched two startups. He earned his M.S. in Computer Engineering at the University of Southwest Louisiana, and his B.S. in Electronics Engineering at the University of Bangalore.

As Chief Strategy Officer for data analytics company Saama Technologies, I guide the concepts, design, and development of innovative data & analytics solutions that generate successful business outcomes. I lead Saama’s transformation journey, creating focus areas, business models and repeatable offerings. I enjoy business development; from strategy execution to customer acquisition. Deep Learning produced an exciting new era of understanding clinical data. My passion is helping pharma and biotech create intelligent analytical solutions to operationalize insights and solve drug development/delivery business challenges. State-of-the-art solutions, like Saama’s Life Science Analytics Cloud and Deep Learning Intelligent Assistant (DaLIA) accelerate outcomes; developing drugs faster and cheaper while ensuring safety.Recognized as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the Healthcare Industry" with PM360 2019 Elite Award as a Strategist.Recognized by Innovation Enterprise with Chief Strategy Officer of the Year Award. Kellogg Business School did a Case Study on our transformation journey to its 2018 MBA class.In 1999, I founded analytics company InfoSTEP Inc., serving as CEO until its 2010 acquisition by Saama. Key accomplishments included architecting solutions for CIOs to manage IT business value and for Risk Officers to manage business risks. A highlight of this time was selling part of the company and leading the 2007 effort to list on the Bombay Stock Exchange. I also served on the Board of ISACA, Silicon Valley Chapter.Following a B.S. from Andhra University and an M.S. from Indian Institute of Technology (ITT) Kanpur, I worked at CMC Ltd with other pioneers in mathematical font generation and transliteration systems.
