07/01/1988 -Changed name to United National Bank

02/02/1998 -Changed name to Mellon United National Bank

The new millennium began with the purchase of Banco Herrero and its flotation, which took place on 18 April 2001.

In 2003, the purchase of Banco Atlántico was signed, which meant an increase in size that made Banco Sabadell one of the leading institutions in the Spanish market.

In the image on the right, Banco Sabadell enters the IBEX 35 in 2004.

The Banco Sabadell Historical Archives (BSHA) were set up in 2005 to preserve, manage and share the documentary heritage of the Bank.

Banco Sabadell positioned itself as a one of the buying entities in the process of bank concentration caused by the great financial crisis, which erupted in 2008 following the collapse of Lehman Brothers.

01/15/2010 -Changed name to Sabadell United Bank, National Association

08/19/2011 -Acquired Lydian Private Bank (35356) in Palm Beach, FL as part of a government assisted transaction.

07/12/2014 -Acquired Jgb Bank, National Association (17715) in Doral, FL
