BAGGER: This person's primary duties involve the day-to-day operation of the store's grocery bagging, pick-up lane, and the parking lot activities. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned. Availability: Must be available to be scheduled between 10+hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs

Job Summary:
The Carry Out / Utility Clerk provides excellent customer service to all customers by interacting with each guest in a welcoming, courteous, friendly manner, while bagging groceries and providing carry out service when requested. The Carry Out / Utility Clerk may also be called upon to clean and provide support to other departments as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by giving customers full attention during any interaction
Greet customers entering the store in a friendly manner and be sure to thank customers for choosing Walt Churchill's when they leave
Assist customers in locating products
Bag groceries efficiently without damaging purchased items. Ensure bags are not too heavy, and separate unlike items that might cause contamination or damage to other products in the same bag.
Assist customers to their vehicles with groceries as requested
Ensure carts are collected from parking lot and kept in an orderly fashion within the store, regardless of weather
Restock groceries throughout the day that customers have returned or decided not to purchase
Maintain bag stock at check out and ensure check out area is tidy and free of litter
Complete assigned daily tasks, which may include fronting shelves, and light cleaning/maintenance (e.g. sweeping, dumping trash, cleaning restrooms, maintaining coffee grinder, cleaning coffee pots, making coffee)
Assist in various departments as needed
Take direction from Customer Service/Cashier Supervisors
Schedule:
The schedule for this position requires afternoon availability and open availability on the weekends.
