Working for SCUSD is very beneficial if you are looking to advance your career in education.
Cons are definitely being paid year round and having school breaks; Summer, vacation and all holidays
I would one of the highlights are the benefits.
Because I work at a specific school I can only address my work environment. I am lucky to work with such wonderful leaders at my school site.
My only suggestion would be to allow seniority throughout all of the districts to carry over. Especially if you have already invested 10 or more years in one specific district.
I made sure that I was transparent and confident.
