Check product on inbound / outbound to ensure that items and quantities are correct and that there is no damage Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories. Recharge batteries, fills fuel tank, or replace gas tank. Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment. Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner. Responsibilities: • Perform cycle counts daily as assigned. • Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause of the problem. • Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer in order to dispose, salvage, or donate. This may include physically lifting or moving product or materials. • Process returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory. • Ensure that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed. Responsibilities: • Performs trailer movements by attaching drive unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading. • Checks trailer lights and tires and inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition. • Monitors truck refrigeration units and may check temperature. • Maintains an orderly lot and paperwork for trailer locations by performing daily yard checks. • Checks empty trailers to ensure cleanliness. • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Write routine reports and correspondence. • Adhere to all safety guidelines and rules. • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. #IND123
