Overview
This position is responsible for providing HR administrative support to the facility associates and management team. This position will work closely with HR leadership, contributing across various HR functions.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate HR processes for hourly associates such as new associate orientation, compensation administration, benefits assistance, exit interviews and unemployment claim responses
* Promote and uphold the Saddle Creek Culture
* Maintain associate database systems to include timekeeping, associate records, accident reporting system, and other work-related technology
* Update reports for weekly HR metrics, attendance tracking, and performance management

* Manage inbound and outbound loading/unloading, accuracy of inventory and warehousing
Qualifications
Education/Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, Management or other related field is highly preferred
* Must possess 10 years of experience within the 3PL industry in which five (5) years are in a leadership role of a warehouse or distribution center
* Must have at least two (2) years of experience managing a P&L

As our new System Analyst, you will be working directly with the Corporate Information Services (IS), local Operations, and our clients. You will have the opportunity to both lead and support tactical and strategic initiatives. If you are a Project Manager junky then you will enjoy working closely with the facility manager in achieving local goals with new start-ups and expanding projects. You get to support application upgrades and business go-live at your locations with the assistance of the other IS teams.
Primary Responsibilities
* Provides specialized application support to users and customers on the Infor warehouse management system and other supporting software
* Develop permanent solutions by identifying and resolving the root cause
* Develop or modify code for in-house applications
* Create and maintain user friendly support documentation
* Test system functionality through writing and performing test scripts
* Supports the business by providing system training and documentation to drive best practices
* Responsible for playing a key role in interacting with other enterprise systems to drive design and develop system improvements
* Effectively communicates project status reports including foreseen obstacles and restraints
* Will be required to partake in on-call rotation

Must Haves
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degrees(s) are a plus (High School Diploma or GED Required)
* At least 3 years of experience working within Information Services or equivalent systems experience
* At least 2 years of development experience or a Computer Science/Computer Engineering degree
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Visual basic troubleshooting/ modification
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to travel for business up to 20% of the time
* Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to "Learn on-the-fly"
* Ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment
* Strong business process and systems analysis skills
* Ability to recognize problems and implement systems-based solutions
* Perform as an effective contributor in a team-oriented environment and accomplish desired results with a high degree of quality
* Intermediate understanding and use of SQL functions in database queries
* Basic understanding of database structure and programmability

* Experience writing simple, clean code that is easy to maintain and read

* Familiarity with web servers including, but not limited to, IIS and Apache
* Familiarity with BI Tools
* Understanding of APIs and Web Services
* Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
* System certifications
