Responsibilities:
Confirm purchase orders and clarifies unclear items by making comparison to master list
Verifies order fulfillment, processing, specifications, receipt of items, and price
Attains recommendations and approval from suppliers for substitute items
Acquire purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
Scheduling delivery and resolving shipments errors with suppliers.
Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
Provides purchasing planning and control information
Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Summary:

The Senior Associate, Strategic Operations is the go-to person for keeping BNY's Hamilton Institute's initiatives running smoothly. Program Operations & Execution

Coordinate logistics, communications, pre-work, and post-session analysis.

Data Management & Reporting
Ensure quality, consistency, and compliance of data used in executive forums and reporting.
Maintain, analyze, and visualize data to support decision-making.
Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports.
Communication & Stakeholder Support

Conduct a range of advanced, diversified and often confidential duties

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, Education, or related field.
