Internship Highlights:
Interns will take part in field trips, lectures, and group projects. We at Denver Botanic Gardens feel strongly that there is no substitute for hands-on learning so in addition to participating in learning opportunities, interns are expected to work alongside their mentors and other horticulturists in the Gardens. This will include participating in the daily activities associated with public garden maintenance - weeding, watering, planting, accessioning, preparing for special events, etc.
The goal of the internship is to provide an overview of public horticulture as well as useful experience in a variety of areas which can help the intern define their interest in horticulture.
As a member of the Gardens' staff, interns will participate in employee meetings and other day-to-day operations and will be subject to all Gardens employment policies.
In Denver temperatures can reach a sizzling 100° in mid-summer, while temperatures at our Mount Goliath site can drop into the 50's. Humidity is very low here, however, there are occasional days of rain or drizzle. Interns should be prepared to work in these environmental extremes as the work site is primarily outdoors.
Regular attendance at the work site may be required. As with all positions at Denver Botanic Gardens, the incumbent must be in good performance standing to be eligible for remote work. Remote work is at the discretion of management at all times.
All Gardens employees must be committed to the mission of connecting people with plants, especially plants from the Rocky Mountain region and similar regions around the world, providing delight and enlightenment to everyone.

Plans, implements and supports the operations of workforce development educational initiatives (e.g., seminars, training sessions, education programs, trainee groups) for the CTSI.

Location & Work Schedule:
This is a seasonal role running February-September 2026, with a schedule divided into three phases. Exact dates will vary based on your hire date and the dates of camp operations.
Phase One: Training & Prep (Feb-June/July): Up to 15 hrs/week, flexible and remote. Includes a Bay Area retreat, marketing events (some evenings/weekends), and on-site prep the week before camp starts.
Phase Two: On-Site (June-August): 40+ hrs/week during camp season (6-8 weeks), typically 45 hrs/week split with your assistant director team. Hours vary between 7am-6pm.
This role requires frequent travel to up to 6 camp locations within your region. You will provide support where needed, sometimes stepping in with little notice to ensure uninterrupted camp operations.
Once camp is in session (6-8 weeks), you'll typically work around 45 hours weekly. Due to the substitute nature of this role, your weekly schedule and assigned camps will vary based on where coverage is needed most during the camp season. You will cover a range of shifts between 7 am and 6 pm. The Extension Agent, under general supervision, implements, plans, and evaluates educational programs and activities in assigned program areas; Supports and assists in the implementation of educational programs and activities in program areas for which other staff members have assigned leadership responsibilities. The areas of focus are small business development, business contracting, agribusiness development, community resources, business financing, home ownership, or community organization development. The position will support Lavaca County.
This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant or restricted funding.
Responsibilities:
Technical Assistance and Program Delivery: Delivers regular Community and Economic Development (CED) community-based educational programs through a wide variety of teaching methods at sites throughout the geographic area served. Provides general assistance to entrepreneurs, small business owners, agri-businesses and land owners on financial resources, business planning, marketing, budgeting, efficient agri-business practices, and business development issues. Provides general information on grant writing procedures and funding agencies available to non-profit organizations.
Program planning and Evaluations (Reports): Plans and implements appropriate impact evaluations and reports to document program effectiveness.
Community Outreach: Works with county and regional economic development agencies to incorporate local county needs into economic development plans programs, and strategies. Collaborate with non-profit community organizations, agencies, key stakeholders, civic groups, local governments, and other Extension staff in the region to provide a broad array of integrated and multicounty programs. Collaborate with County Extension staff to present a unified and coordinated County Extension program effort.
Program Marketing: Assist in the marketing and promotion of the Community and Economic Development Systems Unit by participating in internet radio blogs on various small business and community topics, mass media interviews (when appropriate) and participating in Extension publications on community and economic development topics.
Participates and assists in college-wide events, activities, committees, and performs other duties as deemed necessary.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
Technical competence in appropriate subject matter and the ability to apply this knowledge to the solution of problems.
Understanding of the learning and development processes of youth and adults.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Purpose
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking to hire a full-time Imaging Support Specialist to join the Biomedical Imaging Center (BIC) and coordinate the delivery of the Center's MRI services to our user-base. The BIC is a university core facility that incorporates multi-modal biomedical imaging (MRI, PET, CT, optical imaging) and supports basic, translational and clinical research at UT-Austin and the wider community. Our user-base is wide-ranging and encompasses human and preclinical imaging across multiple fields including oncology, neurology, psychology, psychiatry, nutrition and biomedical engineering. The Imaging Support Specialist will report to the MRI Program Manager and fulfil a key role in the delivery of BIC's services, providing expert technical guidance and training to our imaging community with the goal of enhancing and expanding our user support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the applications of MRI/fMRI to human neuroimaging research, a proven ability to train / educate, and the skills to coordinate a range of administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Deliver MRI services to the BIC's user-base in accordance with our scientific and educational mission.
Coordinate the maintenance and daily operations of the clinical MR systems of the BIC, including administrative tasks such as QA/QC scans, MRI scan protocol creation, and scanner data management. Oversee user-compliance with BIC policies for MR resources and help implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet community needs.
Collaborate with our support team and provide specialist technical support to the Center's user-base for human and pre-clinical MR imaging and spectroscopy.
Conduct the MRI-related training of research personnel at BIC's facilities including in-person safety training and facility orientation; virtual and in-person console training; mentoring prospective MRI Level 2 scanner operators; and provide input into the development of the MRI educational and training curricula.
Maintain the BIC's community-facing resources and update as the Center resources, services and policies evolve. Administer the Center's databases that support community management ensuring comprehensive tracking and accurate reporting of research groups, research projects and users.
Assist BIC users with their research studies, when required, by acting as an experienced Level 2 scanner operator.
Perform other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to biomedical imaging.
4 or more years of experience in the application of MRI/fMRI to human subjects research.
Experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring others.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office or equivalent packages.
Ability to be an effective and flexible team member.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field.
Proficiency with REDCap data collection and project design.
Demonstrated ability to train and support researchers in MRI.
Experience with functional neuroimaging including fMRI stimulus delivery and response devices.
Familiarity with standard MRI/fMRI analysis packages e.g. Freesurfer, Fsl, Osirix.

The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is seeking an individual to work in partnership with the Endowed Chair of Biodesign to develop MICA's new undergraduate Biodesign Co-Major, launching Fall 2026, and Biodesign Graduate program, launching Fall 2027 (pending approval). This is a contracted position with a preferred start date of January 2026 and an end date of August, 2026 with the possibility of reappointment.

About Biodesign at MICA:
The Biodesign program at MICA consists of three interrelated elements: Undergraduate Co-Major, a Graduate Degree, and a Research Agenda. The Undergraduate Biodesign Co-Major, is built upon 10+ years of Biodesign teaching at MICA and has been fully approved for launch AY27. It is situated within the Design and Innovation program which also includes Co-Majors in Architectural Design, Product Design, and Graphic Design. The Biodesign Graduate Degree is currently under development, with internal and external approvals targeted for AY26, and planned launch in Fall 2027. The Biodesign Research Agenda supports extra-curricular and co-curricular R&D regarding novel biomaterials, biofabrication technologies, and their applications, supported through millions of dollars in government and private funding.
The Biodesign Program explores and teaches methods of working with living organisms from across the more-than-human world to create novel materials, objects, and approaches to living and working together on our shared planet. Courses introduce new approaches to making from, like, with, and for other living beings. In MICA's state-of-the-art Biodesign Lab, students learn tools and techniques of biotechnology that expand the scope and possibilities of a contemporary art and design practice. The curriculum explores a broad range of theoretical perspectives and modes of practice, enabling each student to establish their own approach to Biodesign. Courses centered on Creative Experiential Learning build real-world skills and help students find career paths where they can most meaningfully contribute to this emerging transdisciplinary field.
Job Description:
The Biodesign Curriculum Development Partner will work with MICA's Endowed Chair of Biodesign (ECB) to develop the curriculum for the Undergraduate Biodesign Co-Major and the proposal for the Biodesign Graduate program. They will serve as a thought partner for imagining the future of Biodesign education, and will contribute to the planning, proposal, course development, and launch of these new programs.
Responsibilities Include:
Build an understanding of the existing and thus-far planned Biodesign program at MICA.
Serve as a thought partner for imagining the future of Biodesign education.
Engage with the external Biodesign Advisory Board to gain additional input and perspective regarding program objectives and content, and make recommendations for potential board members.
Work with internal partners from other academic departments and MICA's Centers for Excellence including: the Ratcliffe Center for Entrepreneurship, Career Development, and others at MICA to develop thoughtful curricular integrations
Fully develop up to six courses in the approved Biodesign Undergraduate Co-Major curriculum to be offered in Academic Year 2026 - 2027, creating for each course: a detailed syllabus with weekly course outline, compiled and newly-written learning resources, list of materials and resources required to run the course, and other related content.
Assist the ECB in developing the structure and content of the Biodesign Graduate program.
Contribute materials required for internal and external approval of the Biodesign Graduate program.
Develop information for select Graduate courses as required for creating the course listing and degree plan template, including course title, description, etc.
Advise on Lab facilities and space requirements for the Undergraduate Co-Major and Graduate degree.

Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree or higher in art, design, bio-science, or other relevant field (or commensurate experience)
1+ year experience teaching in higher education, beyond graduate assistantships
1+ year experience teaching biodesign (or closely related field)

You Will:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
* Define and lead the Marketing Operations strategic vision and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with Newsela's marketing objectives, growth targets, and company OKRs.
* Serve as the senior leader over Newsela's end-to-end Marketing Technology stack, defining the long-term architecture, integration strategy, governance model, and investment decisions.

Advanced Analytics & Insights
* Lead the enterprise marketing analytics function, leveraging AI-driven tools and models to deliver insights that inform GTM strategy, forecast performance, and optimize demand-generation workflows (e.g., predictive scoring, segmentation, content routing, attribution), improving lead quality, campaign efficiency, and overall funnel performance.
* Define and govern Newsela's marketing attribution model, funnel performance standards, segmentation logic, and experimentation analytics.
* Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a unified, accurate view of pipeline, performance, and customer engagement across BI tools.
Systems & Operational Excellence
* Architect, optimize, and govern all core operational flows. Including lifecycle automation, lead scoring, lead routing, campaign infrastructure, audience segmentation, and MQL frameworks.
* Ensure data integrity, system hygiene, and reliable data flow from website to Marketo to Salesforce and through downstream systems.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance automation, analytics, personalization, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Executive Partnership
* Act as a trusted strategic partner to GTM leadership, influencing decisions with operational insights and data-driven recommendations.

Site Directors lead dynamic summer camps for K-8th grade, serving as both site General Managers and the public face of the organization. Under the direction of a Field Program Manager you will open and operate a Camp Galileo location serving campers and their families within your community!
You will lead a dynamic seasonal team of educators as well as enthusiastic entry-level staff to create joyful, safe environments, and ensure smooth daily operations. With a focus on exceptional camper and family experiences, you will uphold program quality, foster creativity, and deliver excellence in customer care, curriculum, and team leadership.
Core Responsibilities:
Bring Galileo's spirit to life: Infuse camp with joy, tradition, and creativity. Build an inclusive environment where every camper, staff member, and family feels seen, supported, and inspired.
Lead with ownership and vision: Own every aspect of your camp's launch from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up. As both operational lead and culture builder, oversee every detail from daily camp operations to parent communication, while delivering an exceptional program.
Keep camp safe and running smoothly: Prioritize camper safety and family trust at all times. Anticipate needs, adapt quickly, and problem-solve on the fly to ensure camp runs seamlessly, even when things don't go as planned.
Develop and manage your team effectively: Train and mentor a staff of 10-40. Provide clear expectations for instructional and program standards, ongoing feedback, and professional development, while also handling core management responsibilities such as staffing, scheduling, and payroll.
Model creativity and innovation: Use the Galileo Innovation Approach (GIA) to encourage curiosity and problem-solving. Lead your team in turning challenges into opportunities, keeping both spirit and operations aligned to Galileo's mission.
Build strong partnerships: Serve as the primary face of camp. Communicate proactively with families, facilities partners and HQ support teams, collaborate with your Field Program Manager, and cultivate trust with community partners, staff, and campers.
Adapt program operations to site-specific needs: Assess and adjust program operations to align with the unique needs, goals, and context of the assigned site or program by collaborating with stakeholders to implement tailored strategies that enhance effectiveness and ensure relevance.
Location & Work Schedule:
This is a seasonal role running February-September 2026, with a schedule divided into three phases. Exact dates will vary based on the Camp Directors hire date and the dates of camp operations:
Phase One: Training & Prep (Feb-June/July): Up to 15 hours per week - mostly flexible and remote, with some required scheduled and in-person commitments. This phase includes in-person training(s), a Bay Area retreat, scheduled virtual training(s), marketing events, and on-site prep at your camp location during the week leading up to camp. Some events may take place during evenings and weekends.
Phase Two: On-Site (June-August): On-site hours typically range from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (M-F), averaging 45+ hours per week over 5-8 weeks, depending on camp placement.
Phase Three: Wrap-Up (Aug-Sept): Up to 5 hrs total, remote, for final admin tasks and staff reviews.
Compensation:
(Year 1 estimate):
Preseason (Feb-June): Earn hourly pay ($XX/hour) for flexible, part-time prep and training
Camp Season (June-Aug): Transition to a weekly salary ($X,XXX/week) as a full-time, exempt Camp Director during summer operations
Postseason (Aug-Sept): Wrap up with light part-time work, paid hourly ($XX/hour)
Bonus/Commission: Earn an additional $1 per camper-week enrollment, plus potential commission for add-on weeks
