Oversee the conduct of and sign-off on completion of plant HSE trainings Be Part of Leadership & People Development Responsibilities: Facilitate and manage safety improvements using improvement methodology tools. Train and develop assigned groups or department leads to provide day-to-day HSE support with regulatory and technical knowledge. Drive HSE process improvement projects and programs with the goal of building a “Zero Loss” safety culture and reducing at-risk conditions and behaviors. Champion a culture change by focusing on mindsets, behaviors, and capabilities, raising hazard awareness while lowering risk tolerance across the plant. The Segment Safety Manager is a key leader within the SR 400 Express Lanes Project Safety Team, responsible for implementing and overseeing occupational health and safety programs across an assigned project segment. This position ensures compliance with OSHA, GDOT, SRTA Technical Provisions, and the SR 400 Project Safety Plan. Plant Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager, Norcross Plant Lightera is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager for its Fiber Plant located in Norcross, Georgia, a Northeastern suburb of Atlanta. As a member of the factory senior leadership team, the Plant EH&S Manager will implement and oversee policies, programs, and training to enhance the organization's environmental and safety performance, and ensure it complies with federal, state, and local regulations and standards. This individual will promote a safe working environment by engaging with employees and management to gather and analyze accident and near-miss information to identify root causes and implement preventative initiatives. The Employee Health and Safety Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Safety department as well as champion occupational safety in the facility Duties/Responsibilities: Safety Champion for facility Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and results of the EH&S function Coordinates Behavior Based Safety program for facility, including analysis of data collected from observations.
