This role will work within the regional HSE team with a primary focus on leading and supporting HSE programs in logistics and distribution safety for Crop Protection and Seeds. This person may contribute to other regional HSE initiatives outside logistics and distribution safety. This role is preferably based at the North America Headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina but could be considered to be located in St. Gabriel, LA or Omaha NE. Accountabilities: * Develop and implement HSE programs for internal and contracted warehouse, bulk terminals, and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations (IATA, DOT, IMDG, TDG). * Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. * Collaborate with warehouse management to foster a proactive safety culture and deliver HSE training. * Participate in the global distribution safety network. * Provide regulatory and technical support to customers and internal supply operations and contracted distribution network for the safe distribution of material. * Coordinate regional implementation of global safety initiatives with cross-functional teams. * Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions for continuous improvement. * Support emergency response for logistics-related incidents. * Oversee hazardous materials management in compliance with regulatory and Syngenta standards. * Monitor HSE program effectiveness using KPIs and drive ongoing improvements. * Maintain accurate records of incidents, training, audits, and inspections. * Manage regulatory and transportation master data in digital platforms. * Lead Dangerous Goods (DG) and Hazardous Materials (HM) training and documentation, ensuring alignment with current regulations. * Champion continuous improvement in distribution HSE through digital tools and innovation. * Collaborate with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) department. * Oversee export DG documentation and compatibility/segregation for IMDG; coordinate TSA/air cargo security requirements as applicable. * Monitor and implement compliance programs in response to changes in international, US, and Canadian transportation and storage regulations. * Own regulatory and transportation master data governance in SAP (DG classifications, NMFC/freight class, restrictions).

What You'll Bring Minimum 3-5 years of field experience in the power industry, with a strong background in Transmission. Experience could be as a Journeyman lineman, foreman, or safety with direct experience in the field Safety Certification OR currently in pursuit of any of the following are a plus: OSHA 500 / 510, CHST, ASP, CSP, CSHO, COSS, COSM, CUSP, SMS. Strong persuasive skills in dealing with management; Powerline construction managers and supervisors. Ability to organize safety and occupational health material to managers and safety committee effectively. Preferred: HAZWOPER 24, 40 / HAZMAT. OSHA 500, 510 and / or 501, 511. Working towards ASP or equivalent certification.
