Job Summary
The Area EHS&S Manager will be responsible for the occupational health, safety and environmental management of our production facilities, in alignment with the Oldcastle Infrastructure National Platform for Environmental, Health and Safety management. This position will work closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure environmental, safety, and health work standards and methodologies are communicated, and targeted goals are achieved through individual as well as team-based objectives and strategies.

This is a hybrid position located in Nampa, ID with travel to: Idaho Falls, ID, Auburn, WA, Bellingham, WA and Wilsonville, OR. Candidates must live in Nampa, ID.
Job Responsibilities
The Area EHS&S Manager will provide a consistent presence within the facilities they oversee and is expected to identify areas of improvement as well as present solutions to the operational teams which provide sustainable value for growth.
Be a partner to Area General Manager in ensuring ownership by all team members at each site.
Provide leadership to sites' EHS professionals and site managers to ensure the full integration into IPG EHS standards and expectations.
Actively participate on operational team in the areas of operating plans, strategic planning, EHS&S initiatives, internal auditing, management systems, compliance initiatives and governmental/regulatory reporting.
Supervise team of site based EHS&S professionals both directly and indirectly across the region.
Assist with onboarding new EHS professionals and operational managers across the region, as needed.
Providing oversight expertise for incident investigations, development of corrective plans and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
Advise and assist local management in implementing, managing and auditing within the framework of an innovative EHS Management Systems in a manufacturing and construction setting.
Monitor region's EHS metrics and trends, compile reports and share trends and corrective direction taking action in shifting our safety culture from rules and regulatory compliance to a safety culture developed as a behavior driven value at all levels of the organization.
Manage workers compensation, general liability and automotive liability cases; manage claims with medical team and coordinate with the insurance provider and legal counsel.
Develop best practice sharing and learning culture with emphasis on implementation across entire region.
Establish region and/or site priorities and resourcing strategies in conjunction with Regional EHSS Director to identify resource support as needed.
Drive environmental compliance across the region and support in operational sustainability project roll outs and implementation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Science or Engineering related fields or relevant experience.
6+ Years in EHS and/or Manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
Excellent communication skills able to reach across the various functional departments to facilitate seamless integration.
Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
Strong project and process management skills, with experience managing major projects and/or change initiatives.
Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to effectively navigate and research regulatory agency and industry related web content.
Nationally recognized Safety and Health Certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH) preferred.
Experience managing a team of direct and/or indirect reports preferred.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.

The Safety Manager administers project safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They may be responsible for one project or multiple small projects. This role would report to a Senior Safety Manager or Regional Safety Director and potentially manage Safety Coordinators and Field Safety Specialists. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Prepare professional reports, conduct safety briefings, act as company spokesperson for site safety issues, research, and answer site safety questions and concerns.
Resolve site safety issues and provide emergency response as needed that arises from sub-contractors, customers, employees, and company managers.
Identify gaps and implement safety program elements, as needed, to comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
Direct comprehensive, in-depth investigations of all injury and loss incidents, identify all causal factors, develop and implement measures to prevent recurrences, and follow up to ensure long-term resolution.
Conduct safety training, testing, and record-keeping for all employees, sub-contractors, and where Rosendin is prime, all other persons arriving on site (New Hire Orientation, Equipment Training, Haz Com, Fall Protection, Excavation, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag out, Crane and Rigging, etc.).
Act as an advisor to the company management team and customer agencies to ensure safety requirements are identified, communicated to employees, and fulfilled.
Manage the assigned project's safety program budget, planning, acquiring, controlling, and distributing all safety equipment, supplies, and training aids.
Develop and review the site safety plan for the project.
Contribute to project start-up meetings.
Review of the three-week look ahead for the project.
Ensure a crisis management plan is implemented for projects and facilities.
Ensure clinics/medical facilities are set up, and the project team knows their location.
Ensure procedures are followed for LOTO and first-time energization at the project site.

Position Summary
The Safety Manager will plan, implement and supervise project safety in accordance with Federal, State, and local Health and Safety regulations, and Environment (HSE) regulations, site safety and corporate policies. This is a job-site critical position ensuring the health and safety of all employees on the job site. The successful candidate must be CHST certified, be responsive to questions/concerns, excellent communication with all levels and strong problem-solving skills.
Location: Job Site located in Boise, Idaho.
Schedule: Rotating two (2) 60 hour weeks and one (1) 50 hour week, initial project schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Attend jobsite Pre task meetings and meet jobsite supervision independently to identify critical work activities requiring work plans and assist with the development of the work plans prior commencement of work activities. Refer to work plan program. (Fall protection, excavation, confined space entry, crane pick plans are some of the more common plans).
Oversee critical work plan activities to ensure we are following the approved work plan.
Contact General Contractors/ owner's site safety personnel to ensure our operations are to their satisfaction walk site with safety if available follow up on items that need closure. Ensure work is not delayed due to safety issues.
Perform jobsite inspections, review safety related paperwork, and ensure the scope of the pre task plan matches the scope of the daily work and current operations to verify jobsite compliance. Interview employees to see if they are adequately trained and have the necessary tools and PPE required for the tasks being performed, verify all equipment inspections are done by employees using equipment.
Ensure field operations are in compliance with Current OSHA regulations, Murray Company Policies and Owners or General Contractor's rules as specified by contract.
Assist with training as needed for the projects specifically to ensure all employees on site have the required training needed discuss upcoming training needs with the project team and assist in scheduling classes.
Train crew members in personal fall arrest/ restraint systems, scissors lift operations, powered industrial truck operation, personal protective equipment, power tool safety, confined space entry, and any other safety training required by corporate policy. Conduct daily jobsite safety and Pre task audits required by contract.
Assist in updating the certification Training Data Base to ensure all training classes are updated and records are available for employees onsite.
Inspect all rigging while on the jobsite to ensure all is safe for use.
Assist with accident and incident, near miss investigation for the jobsites and develop safety alerts as a result thereof.
Ensure there is a root cause analysis performed and develop mitigation methods when necessary. Foremen and superintendents are to write reports but assistance may be needed when investigating and finding the route cause. Provide appropriate documentation to the Corporate Safety Department and GC once approved.
Accompany any injured worker throughout any medical treatment that may be necessary to ensure the employee gets proper care and that the injury/care is properly managed.
Ensure appropriate management of work-related injuries and proper care for injured employees.
Develop and implement procedures to eliminate hazards and situations as those discovered through lessons learned and investigations from prior incidents.
Recommend corrective actions and/or disciplinary procedures for violations of HSE rules, procedures.
Review and record all required job site safety documentation created by foreman to ensure compliance corporate policy. Coach and correct when needed.
Assist in new hire orientation as needed.
Conduct work area surveillance inspections and air sampling tests for welding operations as needed for specific work.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers to drive positive change.
Assist Safety Department and project team as needed for specific safety related items.

A Project HSE Manager is an integral member of a project team and they are highly dedicated to the health and well-being of others. A Brief Overview

Job Description:
The Director of Safety oversees the development and execution of safety and health programs across all partner companies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. This role works closely with onsite leadership at each company to promote a culture of safety and proactively mitigate risk. This position is essential in maintaining compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, and other regulations relevant to electrical construction. The Director coordinates and tracks safety training initiatives to ensure both employees and operations meet federal and internal safety standards. They take a proactive approach to safety, focusing on improving and maintaining best practices, while keeping a close eye on performance trends to address incidents or issues early.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain all current written safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Oversee and guide the company's safety program by creating and managing annual plans for training, assessments, and inspections.
Maintains company safety records, manuals, and detailed, confidential incident documentation.
Collaborate with Safety Coordinators, Managers and Team Trainers to ensure safety standards awareness, compliance, and licensing remain in good standing throughout the company.
Ensure facilities and work sites are compliant with all OSHA, federal, and state/local guidelines and requirements, and company safety standards.
Develop safety performance standards, methods of accomplishing those standards and reporting processes for ensuring compliance.
Aligns with Safety Coordinators, Human Resources, Managers and external agencies to promote safety and health awareness through job site presence, employee coaching, and regularly scheduled weekly, monthly, and annual trainings.
Advises leadership of regulatory changes which the company must meet compliance.
Oversees investigations of safety incidents-including accidents, near-misses, and injuries by identifying root causes, reviewing reports, and ensuring corrective actions and follow-up are completed.
Coordinates with Human Resources to align with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and medical providers on claims and return-to-work plans.
Ensures jobsite visits and safety audits are conducted to promote safe practices and mentor field leadership.
Monitors lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation Claims.
Supports company personnel in selection and application of appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment and maintains a ready stockpile for use.
Serves as subject matter expert regarding safety best practices on a jobsite.
Serves as point of contact regarding safety response issues.
Serves as point of contact regarding OSHA compliance and safety inspections.
Completes other projects as assigned.
Competencies:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction safety, preferably within the electrical or general contracting industry.
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (OSHA 500 or 510 preferred).
Certifications in NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, and other relevant areas.
In-depth understanding of OSHA, DOT, and other federal/state safety regulations.
Demonstrated experience managing workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.
Knowledge of federal, state, OSHA regulations, safety equipment and proper handling of residential, industrial, commercial, and agricultural work sites.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and capacity to handle complex responsibilities.
Independent decision-making ability.
Strong problem solving/analysis.
Extreme ownership of safety programs and practices.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The principal function of an employee in this class is take care of the Water Renewal Facility grounds, buildings, and ensure the safety of employees and the general public. This position will assist with the operation and maintenance of the City's Water Renewal Facility. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of an assigned supervisor, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Regular Janitorial Duties: Maintains the interior and exterior of the Treatment Plant in a clean and orderly manner to ensure a safe work environment for City employees and the general public, including cleaning buildings.
* General grounds maintenance and upkeep such as mowing, weed control, debris, and trash.
* Maintain and repairs administrative building, operators' area, collections area, and other process buildings including MCC's. This would include hosing exterior and interior buildings.

Job Description:
The Director of Safety oversees the development and execution of safety and health programs across all partner companies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. This role works closely with onsite leadership at each company to promote a culture of safety and proactively mitigate risk. This position is essential in maintaining compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, and other regulations relevant to electrical construction. The Director coordinates and tracks safety training initiatives to ensure both employees and operations meet federal and internal safety standards. They take a proactive approach to safety, focusing on improving and maintaining best practices, while keeping a close eye on performance trends to address incidents or issues early.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain all current written safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Oversee and guide the company's safety program by creating and managing annual plans for training, assessments, and inspections.
Maintains company safety records, manuals, and detailed, confidential incident documentation.
Collaborate with Safety Coordinators, Managers and Team Trainers to ensure safety standards awareness, compliance, and licensing remain in good standing throughout the company.
Ensure facilities and work sites are compliant with all OSHA, federal, and state/local guidelines and requirements, and company safety standards.
Develop safety performance standards, methods of accomplishing those standards and reporting processes for ensuring compliance.
Aligns with Safety Coordinators, Human Resources, Managers and external agencies to promote safety and health awareness through job site presence, employee coaching, and regularly scheduled weekly, monthly, and annual trainings.
Advises leadership of regulatory changes which the company must meet compliance.
Oversees investigations of safety incidents-including accidents, near-misses, and injuries by identifying root causes, reviewing reports, and ensuring corrective actions and follow-up are completed.
Coordinates with Human Resources to align with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and medical providers on claims and return-to-work plans.
Ensures jobsite visits and safety audits are conducted to promote safe practices and mentor field leadership.
Monitors lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation Claims.
Supports company personnel in selection and application of appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment and maintains a ready stockpile for use.
Serves as subject matter expert regarding safety best practices on a jobsite.
Serves as point of contact regarding safety response issues.
Serves as point of contact regarding OSHA compliance and safety inspections.
Completes other projects as assigned.
Competencies:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction safety, preferably within the electrical or general contracting industry.
OSHA 30-Hour Certification (OSHA 500 or 510 preferred).
Certifications in NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, and other relevant areas.
In-depth understanding of OSHA, DOT, and other federal/state safety regulations.
Demonstrated experience managing workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.
Knowledge of federal, state, OSHA regulations, safety equipment and proper handling of residential, industrial, commercial, and agricultural work sites.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and capacity to handle complex responsibilities.
Independent decision-making ability.
Strong problem solving/analysis.
Extreme ownership of safety programs and practices.
Ability to collaborate with multiple industry and federal safety organizations.
