This will require ensuring timely reporting, maintenance of compliance records, research/implementation of evolving regulations from various bodies, including FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA, Homeland Security, and local governments manage employee safety training manage random drug screenings for DOT compliance Key Competencies: The role requires a strong ability to lead, communicate and drive process efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance in the various aspects of day-to-day operations. This manager should be able to develop new processes as needed. Experience and Skills: The role requires 5-10 years of experience in safety and regulatory compliance management, cylinder fill plant management, or compressed gas operations management, a B.S. degree, knowledge of FDA, DOT, and OSHA guidelines, and strong communication skills. We would prefer direct experience with compressed gas plant production safety.

The Sr. Safety Coordinator assists the Project Manager, Division Safety Manager, and leadership in enforcing and regulating all safety procedures to ensure full compliance with safety requirements across field operations and facilities by managing and coordinating all division safety activities. Position Details Tours and inspects small to mid-size job sites to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Reports concerns to safety management and ensures enforcement of OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Documents safety inspections, identifies hazardous areas or procedures, and recommends corrective actions. Ensures non-compliance issues are corrected within designated timeframes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences, or a related discipline preferred. 3+ years of experience in a related field, including employee training experience. Experience in safety management preferred. Certifications in CPR and First Aid required. OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, and OSHA 40hr training required. OSHA 500, CHST, or ASP certifications required. Excellent working knowledge of health and safety management systems; OSHA CFR 1926 standards or relevant state construction safety regulations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Strong customer service, organizational, and project management skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online access to OSHA resources. Provide coaching and counseling, as needed, to keep personnel on track with objectives and development goals. + Manage accurate EHS team s and participate in succession planning by identifying and developing internal and external talent to fill critical roles in EH&S. + Other duties as assigned. **What You Need to Succeed:** + Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, management, or related science with 5 years' experience in EH&S is required. + Thorough knowledge of and experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other federal and state standards and regulations. + Master's degree in management, business, engineering, or related science is preferred. + Knowledge and any experience working in manufacturing industry or similar environment is preferred. + Must have proven excellence in written and oral communication with the ability to develop and successfully implement strategic EHS programs for multiple service locations. + Must have demonstrated interpersonal and teambuilding skills. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office. + Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards. + Lead auditor training or internal auditor experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards. **Why Work for Us?** Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if: You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
