Obtain necessary facility inspections and certificates * Oversee proper water testing, chemical supply ordering, and proper storage of chemicals for the aquatic facility * Assists external and internal partners with the coordination and supervision of the preventative maintenance plan for all aquatics equipment associated with the Bill Powell Natatorium * Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate aquatic facility staff. Plan, coordinate, and implement staff training, in-services, and water safety skills testing * Assist with the development, implementation, evaluation, and enforcement of all rules and regulations pertaining to the aquatic facility * Collaborate with the Assistant Director, Facilities to coordinate the scheduling and supervision of the aquatic facility by campus and community groups * Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate aquatic programs, to include group and private swim lesson programs and special event programming Safety Management * Lead risk management for the department by supervising American Red Cross instructors and managing the CPR class schedule. * Coordinate and facilitate certification courses in American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Water Safety Instructor for employees and the community * Evaluate and reduce risk in the department as well as ensuring student staff certifications and trainings are up to date. About the Role The Drug Safety & PV Specialist reports to the Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance and is primarily responsible for performing operational tasks and activities supporting the Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety organization.
